"I've bought clothes before at the Men's Wearhouse when I lived on the west coast. Suits, sports coats, shirts, shoes, ties. This particular store was different from my previous experience, which was pretty good prior. I wasn't sure about this visit on what I was going to buy. It was on a Monday at about 11 AM. There was only one other customer. I met with one young man for about three minutes and told him I didn't know what I wanted. He directed me over to the clothing rack for clearance items. "To save me money." Then he was gone. Odd. Anyway, I figured it out on my own. I bought a sports jacket, some slacks, a shirt and a tie. I'm a t shirt and jeans kind of guy. But I clean up pretty well, and I know how to dress for the occasion or event. I wasn't offended, but I thought the customer service was better suited for a place like Home Depot. PS....to the young man who took me to the clearance section. Get off your cellphone."

"Outstanding customer service from Tim. They just don’t have many stores like this anymore. Prices were more than reasonable and a lot of sale and clearance options. My experience: I initially went in like I do in all stores and refused the first offer for help, it was Tim greeting me as I walked through the door. Not long after, I found myself a little lost as to what I was doing so I gladly took Tim up on his previous offer. This extremely kind and patient gentleman stood up and immediately grabbed his tape measure, and proceeded to get my measurements after inquiring about my intentions to find some shirts and pants. After getting the measurements, he literally walked through the entire store hand selecting items that paired with my descriptions. Tim exhibited nothing short of first class customer service, I felt as if I had my own tailor present with me. If you’re heading to this location, be sure to ask for Tim and tell him Brandon says hello."

"Prior to going into the store in South Portland Maine, I had never needed to purchase a suit so needless to say I didn’t really know what I was doing. After wandering the store for a bit (which was very busy) I was approached by Anthony, who helped me every step of the way and then some. He was attentive and helpful even while assisting other customers and running around the store in between me trying things on. We landed on a full suit that fit perfectly and Anthony was willing to hold it for me past the normally allotted time period for me to pick it up at a later date. Just wanted to give credit where credit is due, shout-out Anthony. Hoping this reaches management at the store because he did great."
