"We the Post 7 Legion were putting wreaths on veterans graves that we bought from Wreaths across America. We got to the Franklin steers cemetery and we ran out of wreaths. I left there with a sad feeling that we didn’t have enough. I drove to Homedepot and spoke to Sandy at Customer Service. She made a in store phone call and with in 20 Minutes I had 30 wreaths for the graves of veterans. I would Like to thank store manager Bill Brown, Sandy and one other employee that want to remain anonymous. They took money out of the own wallets and each one bought 10 wreaths. I was overwhelmed by their generosity for helping. I left there with tears in my eyes. 30 more Vet graves had a Thank you for there service and a wreath. "I stopped in around 8:45 and went to the customer service desk and said I was looking for an item. Told him I could probably find it but I just want to know where it's at since they're closing at 9:00 and he very loudly and sarcastically yelled "Sure, thanks bud!" That's a pretty embarrassing way to conduct yourself in front of a customer. If it wasn't so late I would have gone to Hammond. They'll just point you in the right direction without busting your balls."

"Today I went to the Home Depot store in Rochester, NH for some wood to build some shelves in an odd sized storage closet. None of the standard size boards would work - an employee tried to help me find something that would work. Instead, he made some creative suggestions and custom cut some boards to solve the problem - he spent a lot of extra time doing this for only a $50 sale. Over the past 5 years I have bought area rugs, garden tools, patio furniture, paint and lighting and have been satisfied with the selection of products and the helpfulness of the sales people."
