Each of the servers killed it with their knowledge of the menu and impeccable service. The kitchen staff were all introduced to us and we got to see them work their magic as we enjoyed dinner. "There is no shortage of good places to eat in Portland, but Twelve might runaway with the top spot. The food is excellent, and yet despite the gourmet plates you can dress up or dress down for a table seating. We went as a celebration dinner, and ate at a table (prix fixe) and the plates were undeniably special and delicious. Make a reservation or try your luck as a walk-in. Cannot recommend highly enough!"

"Anniversary dinner at the bar. It’s a really nice experience. Staff and service top notch. Ambiance is special. Entrees a little precious but artistic and delicious. Really nice and delicate flavors all around. The basics were the best - house chips and dip, rolls, salad, and Chocolate pudding dessert all surprise highlights. Great cocktails too. Spendy but a treat."
