"Walked into the Freeport Oyster bar while on vacation and sat at the bar because the restaurant was full. Was immediately greeted by someone who made us feel welcome!! We were waited on by Andre who was the bartender. He had recommendations that were phenomenal!! The oysters (Madeleine Point) were “melt in your mouth” and the margaritas were top notch!! We loved the food and drinks and the atmosphere and the people so much we came back a second night for the same experience and were not disappointed! Would recommend to anyone and everyone! "Best Chowder I've ever tasted! Chunky seafood meat! Fresh Oysters and Veggies were so good! Overall experience and atmosphere made you feel at home. Service was excellent and plenty of seating available. If you're in Maine make sure to stop by, enjoy the fresh food, drinks, relax and chat. I wish they were closer to my home."
