"Our kids love this place so we tried it today. I had the baconator and the hubs had the godmother! I loved mine, my hubs said his was on the salty side and needed more tomatoes. Everyone there is super nice too!"
"The food was delicious! It was also not much of a wait for fresh, hot food. The menu has a wide variety of grilled cheese sandwiches and the tomato soup is amazing!"
"Very cool selection of grilled cheese. One of the menu items is a regular grilled cheese with tomato soup. The gobbler, a Thanksgiving sandwich on grilled sourdough, was just what I wanted on a cool fall night. Each sandwich comes with homemade chips and a dip that seemed to be maybe BBQ aoli."
"We walked by Cheese Louise & loved how cute it was & grilled cheeses sounded tasty. My boyfriend ordered the clawbster & I got the "No Porkin' Way." The clawbster felt like a fair value for the cost & he liked it a lot. He got a mac & cheese side and thought it was a bit plain. I thought the No Porkin' Way was the best grilled cheese I've ever had. The sauce really made the whole sandwich & I would love to just use the sauce on a variety of other foods too. We actually used my sauce & my chips on the mac & cheese which made it super delicious. The chips were good. Frozen lemonade was also a great choice & perfect for a warm day. The store overall was really cute. I liked how they used their branding all over & had a flipbook of their company story. They also had plants for sale which both made the space look nicer & gave opportunity to add a nice touch to your home. Would definitely return here on our next trip to Portland."
"This is a cute little shop. There’s not a lot of seating but it’s fun to look around. We ordered three grilled cheese sandwiches and three sides. The sandwiches were nice and crispy. The cheese was melted and they were everything a grilled cheese sandwich is supposed to be. The sides were not fantastic. They were large portions but… the mac & cheese was very bland and needed salt. It was more soupy than cheesy. The tomato soup was very acidic. We didn’t finish the soup or the mac & cheese. The salad was beautiful. It was full of blueberries and sunflower seeds and apricots. It was very fresh, and the dressing was nice as well. We also ordered a tea and two lemonades . With the tip it was about $63 which is more than I like to spend on grilled cheese sandwiches. I probably wouldn’t come here again but it was definitely fun as a tourist."
