"Really wanted to give this place a higher rating because the locals are nice and it’s a lovely NH town. I had fish and chips and my hubs had a cheeseburger. The haddock seemed fresh but both of our chips (fries) turned cold quickly. My hubs cheeseburger was small. He ordered it medium rare but arrived well done."
"We just moved to Jackson and wanted to go somewhere nice for dinner. Found this place down the road and we ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! The vibes were immaculate. The staff was awesome. And the food was to die for. The ribs fell off the bone and the steak tips were delicious! Definitely recommend."
"Atmosphere was great. Service was great, however the food I received was not. The clam chowder was thin, runny and salty with very little clams or potatoes. The pork nachos were burnt and hardly edible. They were so chewy you could hardly get them down. The side salad never showed up. Not what I expected for a $100 plus bill. Very disappointing."
"Atmosphere is great and the waitress was fantastic. I ordered steak tips well done and emphasized well done. I even said it would be ok to cut into the tips to ensure they were cooked to order. When the food came out the tips were rare and had to be sent back. I waited approximately 10-15 minutes while my wife ate her meal. The tips came back and all but one were well done. The tips were flavorful! The waitress did give me a beer “on the house”. The experience was great but the issue with the food is the only reason I didn’t give 5 stars for the food. I would go back though and order a different meal. Give this place a shot, I think you will like it."
"Super cozy pub with live music and the friendliest staff. The wait for a table on a Saturday night could be long, but you can grab a drink at the bar and relax by the fireplace while you wait. The ambiance was perfect after a long day hiking. There’s no drink menu at the bar, but it looks like they could make you just about anything you would want. Tried the Mac and cheese and wings. Both were good, but seeing the other plates around me, I would try something different next time."
