"Loved this little place. The food was delicious and tasted like home cooking. When we arrived we had a 15 minute wait but it was no problem because we walked through their little general store that was stocked with lots of cute New Hampshire gifts. We’ll be back for sure!"
"Best breakfast I've had in the White Mountains. I will be back to this place with my family anytime we may find ourselves in the area. A plus is that it's ~10 minutes to Santa's Village. However, I was sad that they are closed on Wednesdays because that was the day I initially wanted to go. Lucky for me, we were able to go back the next day and enjoy a hearty breakfast with generous portions. And this place uses real Maple syrup without charging you $2+ for it. I want to try every single thing on their menu. The pancakes are the size of a large plate. Go to this place for a great value for your money and scrumptious food. Update: We finally got back here after over four years, and I don't get some of the bad reviews because of the doorbell that goes off. The food is still delicious and still reasonably priced. They still offer bottomless coffee for $2! And the maple syrup is still included. Portions are still generous. I also tried the Boston Cream pancake, and it's just like having a Boston Cream Pie, so yummy and with a bunch of cream filling."
"Some of the best places are those off the beaten path. The "hole in the wall" as people say. But this was anything but that! I immensely enjoyed my experience at the Waterwheel. Cute restaurant with a rustic and homey feel. Very warm and welcoming. The staff is SUPER nice and you can tell they love what they do. You get A LOT of bang for your buck here with the menu - I couldn't even eat all of my food. The portions are huge so keep that in mine. Fresh shell eggs, perfectly seasoned home fries, and pancakes made to perfection. It put me into a food coma after #IYKYK. If you're visiting Northern NH this is definitely a place you want to visit and check out. I will definitely be back and recommend it to anyone who asks."
"The BEST pancakes I have EVER had in my LIFE! I tried the peanut butter and chocolate chip pancake and…. Woooow. It was HUGE! And soooooo delicious! The Eggs Benedict were just as amazing! The staff is friendly. Very welcoming. This is our new favorite place when we need a day trip. Well worth the 2 1/2 hr drive from home."
