"Came up to Vermont for a late October meeting with the famiky. Had basics for meals in car but needed a few last minute cooking items and no grocery stores were nearby. Found Wardsboro Country store and actually called famiky on way up to see if they were still passing groceries. I was floored when I went in by the selection (both brreadth and quality) and it was so good even added another meal to our plans as the place has a full deli/butcher. Even the beer selection was fine and prices were fair. Final bonus, staff both up front and in the back wrre pleasant and full of great local advice. A real life saver and made the whole stay great."
"They even had duck eggs! This place was beyond great. My daughter lost her toy cat somewhere in the store and everyone helped look for it. Although we never found it, they were very kind and helpful people. What a wonderful, special place!"
