Reviews
"This dollar store is like any other Family Dollar store. Just be aware that the prices are not necessary $1 on all the products. Actually, most of what they are offering is more than $1."
"I was in the store the other day and noticed a few items were ringing up at checkout for more than what was listed on the shelf. I told the casher who then notified her supervisor. The supervisor then proceeded to literally yell at me in front of several other customers! Telling me that if I think I can do this job I need to put an application in then I can put the tags on the shelf. I understand staffing issues and did not cause a huge fuss, just simply pointed out the price difference. I did not deserve this treatment and feel I was severely disrespected."
"I always see this one guy whose always working. I can tell that the job gets to him but none the less he stays on top of it. He trys very hard through the staff shortage. He might not greet you with a smile or anything but the second you acknowledg him with any sort of respect you can see his eyes light up and his moral changes into what he could be. Keep strong man you got this."
"As an employee of the store it's great. But when people come in acting rude and trying to open a locked door while the safes are open yes we will get short fuzed. We don't kick people out for no reason and if you try to apply for a job here might not be in your best interest to slander the company your trying to apply at. The store has been through alot in the past year and we are trying to clean it up and get the place stocked and filled with people that want to work."
"I recommend that no one goes to this store I'm new here and Vermont and just recently got banned from the store today because I had no clue they open at 10am . On the website it says at 8am they're open . So an employee decided to come outside and yell at me for apparently no reason she told me not to come back . I did nothing wrong so I still decided to go back and get my groceries and supplies that I needed . After I was almost done the manager told me not to come back but yet once again I did nothing wrong . The lady also tried to bump into me while I was walking. She was saying loud remarks out loud but I still ignored her people like this doesn't deserve to work with the public . She also was yelling at the manager telling him what to do this is just absurd . They're all very rude for no reason . I just didn't understand what I did wrong and still don't understand but on that note they all need to be fired . Everytime I did go in there the lady was always complaining about something if she don't like her job why not quit . She is so rude. It's the lady with the messing front tooth . First bad experience in Vermont Wilmington at the family dollar . RUN DON'T GO THERE"
