"This is the best store in southern vermont. They have the best cheddar I have ever had. They have great old fashioned candies and fancy fudge and truffles. They have nice nice souvenirs and cute little toys for kids."
"Very cute store - deducting 2 stars for being questioned in front of the entire store if we ACTUALLY paid for the $5 mini rolling pin we bought. We were told to feel free to check out at the cashier counter at the back of the store, and then after doing so, were weirdly stopped by the lady at the front (the same one who said we could check out in the back) who implied we did not actually pay. I know in this day and age mini rolling pin thieves are running rampant, but I sincerely PROMISE I am not one of them ! love ya"
"This store and the dear ladies that run it are a treasure! Like going back in time! Best gifts in Vermont! I ever added to my stamp collection a few great original Confederate Stamps! Thank you!"
"Charming place to visit. Super friendly staff. The town is lovely...like really classic New England. The building is pretty old, so it feels like you're stepping back in time. The floors are a little uneven, so be careful. The stuff they sell is mostly touristy stuff, like t-shirts, mugs, figurines, etc. They also had maple syrups, and cheese. There was also an entire room for kids things. But, the game changer is the fudge. Several varieties, of which my husband bought most, haha. Next door was a quilt shop, which was closed down, but the building dates from 1805 which adds to the charm. There was plenty of parking in back"
"Such a great little store. All of their premadr foods are worth a try. Yo U must try their chilli and corn bread it is probably one of the best things they have! All of their produce, meats, and eggs are local and delicious as well. They have a great selection of various cuts of meats in their freezer section as well as desserts for in their display cases."
