"I've never left a review on Google before. Honestly, repeated issues from Sullivan's has me fed up. I've been getting medical supplies from them for probably about 2 years now. My prescription is very simple. They have a line where you can call and leave a message and they will mail you your prescription. I used to call and leave a message and get my things sent to me. For about the last year or so, literally every time I've tried to use this line, I will wait a week or 2 and not receive my items. So, I call and talk to a live person. They never seem to know anything about my order. One time I was told it was in fact on the way after calling 2 weeks after placing my order to follow up. After not receiving it for another 1.5 weeks, I called again to find out they completely forgot and didn't even place the order until the second time I called (counting the message on the reorder line, that would be 3 times). That is a month delay for supplies I need to survive. But I've been patient and understanding. So, now I always just call and talk to a live rep. Recently, the last few months, I've had to renew my prescription. I've had to do this with them twice now while being a customer, and both times have been hell. Most recently, I sent my new prescription in 2 months ago, and they needed to process with insurance I guess. Didn't need my supplies for that month anyways so just waited for next month to refill. I called them next month and they still hadn't processed it. Waited until this month. Called and still have not processed it. After 2 months! One time, they sent my supplies to an old address half the U.S. away (I even called before I placed my order to confirm they would send it to my new address - didn't work). I told them they sent it to the wrong place, after my old landlord texted me that I had a package there. They then asked me to retrieve the package myself, and pay to mail 2 large boxes to myself, even though they messed it up! .On top of that, every time I call the live rep line, whoever is on the phone seems like it's their first day on the job every time I call. Talking to themselves, narrating themselves trying to work a computer to me, HEAVY breathing into the mic, and seeming almost drunk or like they just woke up from a nap. Completely unprofessional through dialogue and through business practices. It really should not be a hard thing to do the one thing your business is established to do. As a now, longtime customer (not for long), I would absolutely not recommend Sullivan's unless you enjoy having 0 trust in your PHARMACY and want to have to stress about your prescription every month indefinitely."
"A friendly neighborhood pharmacy, they are great about getting in touch when there is a problem with a prescription, and great about helping to resolve it. I know the staff and they know me, and they are always friendly. It's in the center of Roslindale Village, within walking distance to our house. We've been using them for 15 years and I've never had a bad experience."
"Humans helping humans without the fancy app that never works and is designed to get you to shop shop shop. I was recently forced to move from this pharmacy to a chain. Something to do with my insurance. After two months of torture. Not kidding I thought I was being pranked. I decided I’d rather pay cash than have to use chain pharmacy ever again. I’d probably rather die of illness than deal with chain pharmacy again. So what can I say, Sullivans solves problems instead of creating them. Hope you never have to deal with the chains I went to. The situation is getting worse as they try and monopolize the business. I saw about 20 pharmacist working like their life depends on it but no one could help me do anything, I mean anything. Like just find my account using my name or prescription number or birthdate. In the end I had to call someone at the insurance company to get one of my scripts covered. The others prescriptions they wanted to charge me for after I moved them from Sullivans so I didn’t have to pay. Sullivans has been around way longer than I was born (ancient history)and I don’t believe they have any other locations. If I’m paying, I’m paying Sullivans so I called the doctor and had him reverse all the changes back and then they gave me the refill at Sullivans and said the insurance covered it anyway. they must be doing something right at Sullivans. So don’t fall for it if you get told to move your scripts it’s a scam that will end up costing you more in time and stress. But it’s always worth making the call just in case and especially if paying cash is not an option."
"EXTREMELY rude staff. I swore I would never use them again for ordering my patient’s DME, but I had no other options and gave them another shot. Guess what? Extremely rude again. I had a very simple question which was met with attitude and hostility right off the bat. You can screw up orders and be nice, or be rude but competent. Sullivan’s staff are both rude and incompetent 100% of the time."
"We rented a knee scooter for my son almost 3 years ago and have asked for them to pick it up five times. Three years later, they continue to bill us for far more than the value of the scooter (which was ragged & used when we received it). They still have not picked it up… I have reported them to my insurance company for fraud."
