"This place is HORRIBLE. My dog went for a haircut 3 weeks ago and today we had to put him down. He was a sweet older dog and was treated horrible. He came back very depressed and disoriented. My son said he looked like another dog. He was afraid to be touched, weak and shaky. The guy who cut his hair said that my dog bit him, and instead of stopping or calling me, he finished the grooming, probably forcing him and mistreating him. I call this ABUSE and lack of judgment. My dog obviously had an underlying disease, which we were not aware of, and the stress of being mistreated accelerated his condition. His health declined rapidly in a couple of weeks. I regret taking my doggie for a haircut at this place, so PLEASE NEVER take your OLD dog here. Even when I called the owner she said, " I don't know what to say, sorry to hear your dog looks depressed, I don't know why they took your dog in. We usually never take older dogs because they are hard to handle....."
"We had a great experience at The Dog Wash. We brought our puppy here for his first bath and trim. The groomer was very nice & friendly and we knew our little guy was in good hands. He came out looking so cute and smelled amazing, we could finally see his eyes again. They even gave him a little bow. Thanks for the great first experience!"
"I cannot give enough stars in my review about our experience with Lauren at The Dog Wash. After seven years with the same groomer we had to look for someone new. My seven year old dog is very anxious and does not like grooming normally. The first groomer at a different location told me that I would have to medicate and muzzle my dog before she would try her again, since the at her first attempt my dog tried to nip her. After a few phone calls to several other groomers who came up when I googled “anxious dogs groomers”, I found Lauren. Lauren wanted to try to groom my dog without sedation first to see if she could work with her. Today, I brought her in and in two hours she was done, happy and she didn’t have to do anything extra to get her groomed - no medication needed! She said she was wonderful and not a problem at all. She truly is the dog whisperer! My dog looks wonderful, was happy and playful when she was picked up and I am so pleased to have found my new groomer! If you are looking for the best professional in the industry, give Lauren and The Dog Wash a try!"
"Aweful what happened to my dog Colby, the groomer put a star sticker on Colby’s forehead which didn’t stick to his fur and went into his eye and put a 1 inch scratch on his eye. Who would think a sticker meant for a child’s school paper would be a good thing on a dog’s fur? We had to take Colby to the vet an hour after the grooming and Colby had to have 2 different medications put into his eye 2 times a day which broke my heart and had to wear a cone over his head for a week which was awful. The owner of the dog wash was very disrespectful and refused to help us in any way and said it’s not there fault. I have $500 so far in vet bills and would recommend avoiding the dog wash if you care about your pet as much as I do. The dog wash owner does not care about your pets and only cares about your money which means your pets are not in good hands with the dog wash. Stay away from the dog wash if you want to avoid putting your pets through the pain of almost losing their eyes and want to avoid a $500 veterinary bill. I can’t say anything nice about my experience with the owner of the dog wash and want to help others that love there pets as much as I do, because the owner of the dog wash has no love for your pet."
"We had been going to another groomer in town for years but recently decided to make a change after hearing so many nice things about The Dog Wash from other people in the area. They certainly did not disappoint - The Dog Wash was excellent! They would be the perfect choice if your dog has anxiety or if you’re used to an overcrowded groomer. We will certainly be back for their next hair appointment!"
