"I have recently completed my recertification process with SEB Housing. Just as folks follow the rule of stopping at red lights and going at green lights, SEB Housing also has rules and regulations to follow. They must review applicants' documents according to established rules, and they also need evidence as to whether the information in the submitted documents are true. It is not because they want to disqualify applicants from the housing program—it is because without these processes, the program may not reach the people who truly need it. I'm not saying this because my case went by easily. I’ve also received several incomplete notices, and I tried hard to meet the requirements within those notices. Because each person's situation is different, it is natural for the processing time to be longer. However, SEB Housing's goal is to certify/recertify applicants. All of the SEB departments I’ve worked with were professional and responded quickly to any questions I had.
