Case-Mead Lofts
About the Business
Located at 76 Dorrance Street in Providence, Rhode Island, the Case-Mead Lofts are a historic building with a rich past. Originally constructed in 1859 as a four-story structure, the building underwent renovations in 1906 to add a fifth story, giving it a unique and charming façade that still stands today. The building has served various purposes over the years, including housing an infantry hall and the infamous Turkish Parlor.
The commercial ground floor of the Case-Mead Building has been home to shops and restaurants, while the upper floors previously housed offices with stunning views of the city. Now, Paolino Properties is transforming the building into 44 microloft, studio, and one-bedroom apartments to meet the growing residential demand in downtown Providence.
The Case-Mead Lofts feature high-end finishes and appliances, including custom cabinetry, quartz countertops, and modern amenities such as electric cook-tops, refrigerators, dishwashers, and in-unit washer/dryer units. Each apartment also boasts a walk-in shower, built-in wardrobe, and large windows offering panoramic views of the city.
With its historic charm and modern amenities, the Case-Mead Lofts provide residents with a functional and sophisticated living space in the heart of Providence.

Reviews
"Building opened in Spring 2018 and the developers did a very nice job with it. The furnishings and decor in the units are contemporary and of good quality. While it’s downtown so inevitably a little noise, the building itself is quiet and good for young professionals. Only suggested improvements would be with customer service (need a ticketing system instead of just randomly emailing a few people and hoping for response) and recycling (currently the building only has trash)."
