"As a hotel the Renaissance met all categories. Everything was fine, except for 2 minor issues. 1. The water pressure was very light in the shower, but not enough to complain for a 1 night stay. If you're staying longer and enjoy a good shower, I'd mention it to the staff and hopefully it can be fixed. 2. Parking should not cost over $30 per day at any hotel. That's such an outrageous fee to tackle on just because you're in the downtown area. Due to that parking fee alone, I won't be returning as a guest."

"Stayed for 2 nights. $575 total. Do not recomend for price. I gladly picked and paid for this hotel for the luxury experience the website (and cost point) boasted. Boy, what a major disappointment. Gave a star for location, and a star for cleanliness. No star for View. No star for service. No star for price value. View was blocked by HUGE pillars - as in we might as well have not had a window. It took 15 minutes to check in. There was no bellhop to assist with baggage, or even someone to help us locate our own baggae cart. Valet parking took an additional 10 minutes (making total check in time approx 35 minutes). There was no sense of urgency amongst staff to accomodate newly arrived travelers. Unpleasant smell on the 8th floor hallway, and no effort put towards soundproofing - felt like a cheap apartment building. Ive stayed in Hawaii for cheaper with better service, unobstructed views, and amenities. If you stay here, understand you will pay a premium price for little experience value. I will not return."

"Beautiful hotel. Staff on the other hand deserve a 10+ my stay was unfortunately only a few hours as I had a health emergency. But from my newborn getting sick by the elevator to them cleaning up. Welcoming us to the restaurant. I was there with a newborn and 7yo with health emergency I had to call 911. The tall gentleman helped the ambulance get to me, as well later helped me and my children back in the room and back down to our car. Another staff member giving me water and medication from gift shop. I am SO thankful for all the assistance as I was very ill in the middle of the night. So we headed back home ASAP and did not get to stay the night. Hope to be back under better circumstances. So a huge thank you for being professional and human most of all. I am sorry for all my mess."

"Atmosphere of the hotel is very nice and upscale. Valet parking is a bonus, though a little slow retrieving our car. Room was clearly well-kept and the bed/furniture was very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and the portions were generous. Only complaint was the wait for the food, but our server was top-notch and attentive. All-around would highly recommend."
