"I called to get a facial, and Veronica was sooooo PROFESSIONAL & & and AMAZING at what she does.. Its one of the best facials I've had. I can't wait to go back in a month to see her"
"Deb is the WORST “MT” experience I’ve ever had at a “spa” . Nothing therapeutic about her . Her demeanor and hygiene were grotesque . I myself am an MT and I would NEVER talk to my clients the way I was by her . I used to come to HBE for Kit specifically . He is amazing and listens to anything you ask . DEB disregarded me and COMPLAINED with sighing , eye rolling and wheezing “ I don’t wanna do that for an hour “ . EXCUSE ME . If I schedule and come in to pay for a service on my body , you don’t tell me what you do and don’t wanna do . If I say no leg work and that my back has damage that I SPECIFICALLY marked with a sharpie for her to avoid , then you do your job and work with the body that has been made available to you to work on and REQUESTED for you to work on . 50 minutes on specifically head , neck , shoulders , arms and hands is beyond doable . I myself have done almost 2 hours on a client’s SCALP alone . Highly disappointed , I am never going to BDE again . I can’t believe you’d let somebody like that work on people . I was directed to the room as if I was in a construction site . Shame on you . Did school teach you anything about bodily autonomy and adapting to medical restrictions ? I feel sorry for anybody going there that gets her . School teaches you those basics at the beginning . If you can’t handle the job , don’t do it . I have had hundreds of clients that I have gone above and beyond for and Deb was incapable of necessary basics . I would never have somebody like her work for me , let alone have a license - that I highly doubt Deb has with what I’ve experienced at BDE . I’m beyond upset , I tried getting contact info for the manager yesterday and was told there is no number or email but I could try to get her on the phone during spa hours . What a lie . My manager has an email , so does yours . It is 3 AM the day after and I am STILL reeling about this ."
"I have gotten my hair done with Gabby Tarah and maryume and I would have to say I would 10/10 recommend them to my friends! This salon is great."
"I could have not asked for a better experience today. My facial/wax was wonderful and relaxing. My skin looks great!! Krysta is very knowledge, professional and does her job exceedingly well and is someone I will come back to see again- they are lucky to have her!"
"Had an appointment with Kimberly for 5:15pm. While driving there I received a call that Kimberly was running behind 10 to 15 minutes. I was already on my way with plans to arrive early since I couldn't predict traffic from Schenectady to Clifton Park at rush hour and I wanted to be sure to be on time, because it's respectful to consider other peoples time. I didn't mind waiting 10 to 15 minutes. However, the wait exceeded 30 minutes. As I got up to express to the receptionist that this was much longer than I was told, Kimberly began walking out with her previous client. She offered no sincere apology, only a justification that the girl had a lot of hair. I was not interested in an excuse, I was already well aware that for whatever reason she was held up and I had put in waiting over a half hour. She was insulting in her lack of apology, after having wasted my time driving there and back a half hour each way, not to mention the waste of gas. It was insulting that she made it clear she had no respect for my time. Fortunately I was able to see the results of the previous clients cut, which looked like an effort to disguise lack of skill or talent with what appeared to be a choppy hack job smoothed out with a flat iron. Already I was frustrated at the unreasonable wait and poor attitude towards my inconvenience (from Kimberly; the receptionist was pleasant and I could tell she seemed concerned about my wait). Seeing the other clients hair sealed the deal for me that my money and my hair would be better off with a stylist who has manners and skill."
