"Sarah does an awesome job everytime. 10/10 recommend for anything. I see her for my microderm procedure. She’s the best. Very sweet, soft spoken. Cares about your skin and will do everything to help fix it if it gets bad again."
"I scheduled a last minute appointment for a blowout as I was attending a wedding that day and didn’t have enough time to do my own hair. It was the worst blowout I’ve ever received. Not only did my hair look bad but the stylist had acted like she had never touched hair before in her life. She was extremely awkward and just seemed really nervous/not quite sure what to do. Also, she was very rough with my hair and put so much product in my hair that it gave it this sticky crunchy feel to it. I was really disappointed with this service."
"Layla did a beautiful job cutting and styling my hair. I have been transitioning from a different cut and was in the over grown, shapeless stage. She really listened to my concerns and was so good about not taking too much off, but beautifully reshaped it. She also showed me several ways to style it for different looks. Thank you to the scheduling and checkout people, as I was able to get a last minute appointment."
"I had an appointment at Rumors IV men and have reached out to the store and left a review but have not heard back. So perhaps this will get their attention, or they've just gone severely down hill as a company. On July 18 and showed the guy a picture of a previous haircut and asked for shorter on the sides and longer on the top. He spent about 25 out of 30 minutes on the sides without even touching the top. He also seems not to know how to have done a fade in the back as there is a ridiculous flap-like piece of hair. I had to ask him to trim the top which he did but also seemed not to know how to do it as the hair was just super long and I wound up trimming it myself because it just looked ridiculous and I was embarrassed afterward. He also didn't even ask or try to comb it so when I left I had a weird flap in the back and a mop on the top of my head. And this was just before I had to leave town for a family reunion, so I didn't even have time to hide until my hair could grow back and disguise it, and I had to show of this embarrassment. As I was leaving, one employee said, "that's a nice hair cut." I hope that was out of pity or obligatory, otherwise i have some concerns about what they think looks good. I have upload a picture so you can see the absolutely ridiculous clump of hair on the back of my head that was for some reason left there. The first time I went, I had an appointment was OK. The guy, Duane, was good with the haircut. Although he repeatedly told me about how much skill it took and i couldn't tell if he was bragging, complaining, or trying get a tip which was awkward. He also seemed like a jerk. And made other uncomfortable comments about the female employees' looks and I'm not a sexist pig so I was not comfortable. One employee tried to take one of his appointments to do just a eyebrow trim for time's sake and he made a comment that showed he wasn't happy about it. He tried to play it off as joking, but having worked in retail and managed people i can tell when co-workers are tense, and they were. So it was also an awkward experience. I went to the men one because my barber retired and it had good reviews. I tried again despite the awkwardness and thought perhaps another person would be just as skilled but without the temper and sexist comments. But now I'd say this is two experiences with not the best atmosphere or haircut. Too bad given all the reviews and I needed a new salon. So far I definitely can't recommend them."
