"The Federal is tucked away off to the side of a main street area, which makes it very convenient for anyone who is only in town for a little while. The room we booked was exactly what we preferred. The hotel was quiet, which felt both dreamy and safe. Staff was friendly and approachable. There was coffee service set up on each floor in the morning so we woke up to the smell of fresh coffee, which, to me, is always a good thing. The bed was definitely comfortable. We did not have a bath in our room but the shower was very spacious and clean. Of all the hotels we stayed in during our week-long trip, we found this hotel to be the most comfortable and desirable to our tastes. We were in a room that had many large windows and curtains. The temperature inside the room was easy to adjust and we did spend a decent amount of time in the room. We would very easily stay here again, when in the area."

"The rooms were well appointed, we stayed in room 504 in the federal house side. It’s a room under the stairs that’ll make you think that every other guest is an elephant. The shower is tiny in a way that water will always splash out of the enclosure. The hotel location is tucked a ways back from the main strip. A good thing is that the restaurant is great so you really don’t need to step out if the weather is bad."

"The highway noise is super loud in some rooms. For this level hotel, they could and should put in better windows to block the noise. Staff was great when we mentioned it after night one, and loved us to a quiet room at other end of hotel. Hotel common areas and rooms are beautiful and well maintained."

"Very pretty hotel! Walking distance to Main Street with shops and restaurants. Staff members provided exceptional service! One example-- the GM called our room the morning we were flying home to alert us we left our car lights on all night and offered a jump if needed. Turns out we didn't, but I felt looked after! We enjoyed our stay immensely!"
