"In Chatham for a family wedding and several of us stayed at the Hawthorne Motel and all truly enjoyed our stay there. It's easy to find; very clean and inviting; the views of the Bay are gorgeous and easy to walk to downtown.Sean and Megan made all of our stays wonderful and were always available to assist. "The rooms are on the older side, but still clean, kind of like a bed and breakfast quality. The location is great and a short walk from everything. The price was more than I expected but everything is pricier in this area. The staff are excellent and treat you so well, they’re very accommodating."

The location was perfect for us to walk to town and shop and eat. I would have loved to have met the owner. Our understanding is that she is a senior and still gardens her property. The hydrangeas were beautiful! The furniture in our room was very nice quality. This place wanted me to take up canvas painting! Tip: The hotel is perfect for relaxing. For entertainment, food, and amenities you should plan on going out and about by car and foot."
