"Fantastic location....and you are obviously paying for this. Bedroom offers very basic comfort. Be sure to swich on the air con which is so noisy that it will partially muffled next room customers when they use bathroom, snore or simply open/close the door. Ocean view from 209 is from the side if your looking sideways or stand on the bed. At least you can enjoy free wine and light bfast on the porch and spend a really nice time there. Overall far too expensive for the quality of the room but as the owner says, "this is the best deal in town". If this is indeed the case my recommendation is to avoid Chatham since there are so many beautiful and far better value for money places in Cape Cod."
"This was our third summer back at the surf side inn and once again an amazing stay! The inn did some upgrades we noticed immediately this visit which was nice to see! The only recommendation would be to add full length mirrors to the room if possible. We always feel so welcome staying here and Chris is always a friendly face to see. He makes our stay feel like home! You can’t beat the location; so close to downtown and having a private beach. The inn goes above and beyond with providing all beach supplies and ice if needed! And I can’t forget to mention the morning coffee and pastry’s waiting for you each morning and daily happy hours."
"We stayed at the Surfside Inn for 3 nights recently. If you’re looking for an affordable place in a great location, I highly recommend it. The proximity to town and the beach is perfect. The beach is incredibly close and you can walk to pretty much everything in the main downtown area. The room (209) provided enough. Nothing more, nothing less. It was sufficient for us. It was clean and cooled well. The extras amenities (wagon, beach chairs, umbrella, towels) are a very underrated plus. A solid reflection of the great service we received from Chris."
"Simple rooms that are a little small, but why are you hanging out in your room while in Chatham at the beach? Good location (easy parking and able to walk down to the beach and walk to the lighthouse, or walk to downtown). The amenities were nice (community fridge for storage, just label your stuff), fire pits, wine and cheese hours, and chairs/beach toys for the kids. Definitely a good spot to go to if you’re looking for a more affordable way to enjoy Chatham."
"Ordinary, too plain hotel with nice, friendly owners. No sound insulation means you hear everything that happens in the hall and next door. Well kept, if plain, rooms. Basic bath and shower. Lovely location and easy, quick access to the nearby beach. Overall good Cape atmosphere and hospitality."
