"I was really looking forward to my time here. It was a cute village of condos/cottages. I arrived later in the evening and had difficulty locating my unit because there was minimal outdoor lighting in the parking area or on the driveway. The assigned parking spots are not clearly marked so it was challenging to find it in the dark (it was 8:30 p.) No big deal though-they warn you it's hard to see in the dark there and I appreciated the heads up. When I got into my unit, the place was clean, charming and cozy. But it was cold. There was no heater or any way to take the chill out of the place. It stayed this way my whole stay, where I would wear a sweatshirt to bed. Also, the front door has a large glass window so you can see out to the driveway. During the day, wonderful. At night, for a woman traveling alone in an isolated area, scary. And there was no shade to pull down. I spent my nights trying to avoid the door, especially because there was no way for me to hang a towel to block the view to the inside. When I called the number for the 24 hour service, I had to leave a message about my parking permit (you needed this to park there or be towed). I also texted a number. Thankfully they responded to my text and the parking permit was left for me in the door the next day. The shower was great. Lots of nice toiletries. I work from home and I was there during the day working. The housekeeping staff were in the unit next to me, talking on the phone, for almost an hour. I could hear every word as if they were standing in the room with me. The walls were not soundproof and if another person or family were there, I would have heard them and they me. Ultimately, I was so uncomfortable that I left two nights early. No one asked me why I was leaving and I was definitely not offered a refund for the unused nights. I don't think I will stay here again, but if did I would not do it alone and I would not want to share a building with others (no privacy) In response to the owner: Perhaps you could also leave information about where to find the heater/thermostat, then? So your guests don't have to be uncomfortable or wait for someone to answer their call?"
"Our unit 16B at Captain Gosnold village was simply charming, and It was perfect for two. As soon as you entered you just wanted to take your shoes off, breathe and relax. The artwork was lovely and the wall of books was impressive, as well as the colored glass inserts in the doors. Everything we needed was there. It was spotless and well stocked with towels and bathroom toiletries. The bed was comfortable and clothing storage was more than ample. The two outdoor areas offered you your choice of seating for evening cocktails! The small but lovely Keyes Memorial Beach was within walking distance. Hyannis itself is a stones throw away! Check in was contactless and simple. We will Definitely return and hopefully for longer next time."
"I cannot say enough great things about our stay! We arrived 90 min early to our unit being cleaned. The lovely cleaning lady called the management office to let them know we arrived, and in turn, they allowed us in 90 min early! It was much appreciated it. The unit (18A) was exactly like the photos - clean, cozy and well appointed. Enough space for my husband, myself and 7 year old son. The location was amazing - a quick walk to a few beaches and into town. We brought our bikes and biked EVERYWHERE - it was the best!! I know we will be back and this is exactly where we will stay again. Thank you!!"
"We loved our stay at the cottage! The unit was stocked as represented, very comfortable and quiet. Great location - close enough to all the action, but not too close. Staff is very responsive to all questions and requests. I would definitely stay here again."
"The place was perfect! Close to the beach and not a bad walk into town. They give you towels for the beach upon request and were very accommodating to our needs. The pool was so relaxing, with floats, pool noodles, kiddie toys to borrow and plenty of seating. Grills at most of the houses (I think the studios are the only ones without?). Free parking. A small playground for the little ones. The management and staff were more than friendly. The only downside is there is no AC, there are fans in all the rooms though. Even with that little glitch it is still Highly recommended by me!"
