"My friends and I have stayed here for the last three years and couldn't be happier! Family friendly environment, but that doesn't mean you can't indulge in some adult beverages and activities! The pool is nice and clean, it's a five min walk to the beach, if even, and it's right down the street from the delicious Ocean House Restaurant and bar! Good location for all the Cape had to offer and easy parking on site. Great place to Vaca!"
"We have been coming to the Ebb Tide for the last 4 years and staying in the same cottage. Due to the affordable week long rate, looking over minor issues is easy. We love the central location on the Cape, the 3 minute walk to the beach and great atmosphere we will be continuing our family vacation here."
"Pros: the beach is a short walk and the pool is just outside your cottage and not very heavily utilized making it perfect for little people practicing their swimming skills. Cons: where to begin… most of our stay was DIY. The cottage has a kitchen but isn’t stocked with basic necessities if you plan on cooking for a family. No measuring cups of any sort, the pots and sheet pans are oversized for the mini stove as such the door doesn’t close all the way when the sheet pan is in use. There are also no oven mits to take out those very hot items. Got a nice burn trying to be clever. You have to get creative with how you cook more than one item at a time on the stove top because the full sized pots and skillets compete with one another. The entire facility is more conducive for people 6ft or taller. The microwave is on top of the fridge which makes taking hot things out a potential safety risk. The beds were covered in plastic for Covid purposes but it made sleeping loud and miserable. It’s was hot and sticky. The sheets kept popping off making a restful sleep impossible. The couch had mold spots on both arms. When I mentioned this to the owner he fained surprise which tells me this isn’t the first time he’s heard it. We had to dedicate 2 towels to the couch so people were not uncomfortable. Both the couch and the chair are best described as dank. WiFi is listed as a feature but it is virtually nonexistent. When the WiFi was available it was weak and rarely able to connect. The “cable” was also very basic. We tried hooking a Roku up to the tv but the WiFi was so poor it wouldn’t work. I would recommend packing DVDs. LOTS of them. We also had to clean the pool daily. The 2 available umbrellas are old and do not have a crank. Again not an issue for someone who’s 6ft (I am not). Good luck trying to reach up highly enough to get them to open all the way. Most of these complaints can be resolved with a trip to the dollar tree and some new low cost furniture off of wayfair. No one going on vacation and renting a place with a kitchenette plans on packing their entire kitchen with them so it’s functional. A stepping stool, a can opener that doesn’t attempt to make your fingers bleed, oven mits, mixing bowls and measuring cups are all small things but make a home away from home that much better. Needless to say we will not be returning. I’m sad about it because the location is amazing but it was not the much needed vacation experience I was looking forward to after being released from Covid lockup. They ended our stay with a 9am checkout when check-in is 3pm -_-"
"It was good! There was a pool, had nice rooms, I liked it! it was also very close to the beach 9/10!"
"This is the place to go for that dinner to remember. This not an assembly line, get 'em in and get 'em out, tourist eatery. This is one of the finest restaurants on The Cape. It's a European cuisine that will beg you to return every time you visit Cape Cod."
