"My partner and I have been staying at Brass Key for many years. we normally stay here and were married on the terrace of our room. We loved it here…until the new ownership. our last stay was less than stellar and then we found out the hotel had been sold. we were looking to book for this year and found that pricing is now double or triple previous rates and no longer sustainable for loyal guests. this approach by these large ownerships buying up hospitality businesses will be the downfall of this town. returning guests who place high priority on exceptional accommodations appreciate being valued as loyal guests. Brass Key is sadly no longer that place. corporate greed is taking over this town. truly a shame."

"Overall I liked the Brass Key and I would stay there again. The rooms were comfortable and the guest staff were really friendly. We had a nice sized room that was near the fire pit and it did get quite noisy at night. On a return visit I would pick a more secluded area of the compound. It's really close to Commercial St. and easy to get around. In the evenings it does sort of transform into a bar. The bar staff were not as pleasant as the guest staff but, oh well. The only negative comment about the room was it could benefit from a really deep clean. The air vents had quite a bit of accumulated dust that might be off-putting to those with allergies."

"My husband and I booked to celebrate our anniversary, we were both extremely happy with our stay. The staff is amazing, the location is perfect and the rooms are so great! We had the right amount of space to be more than comfortable. The breakfast was so good too. We would definitely stay again!!!"

"I have gone to ptown for over 10 years and stayed at some great places but the brass key was by far the best experience all around . My room was perfect, I’m an early riser and a coffee hound so having breakfast early and coffee until 4 was great. The staff from the office , kitchen and cleaning was superb and what an atmosphere gorgeous cozy places to hang with friends. I can’t say enough about this place can’t wait to book again for next carnival"

"They have to have the best hotel staff ever. Absolutely everyone we spoke to was super polite and helpful. The rooms were comfortable and we booked one with a patio that had a lovely view over the pools. With several bars on the property we got to sample a number of their menu options, and when one was not our cup of tea a swap was painless. Parking is tight at best and there is a bit of a slope to the entrance, be advised!"
