"I just spent a weekend in Provincetown. I stayed at The Aerie House. I cannot recommend this property enough. My room was spotless and my bed was extremely comfortable. The weekend breakfast buffet was delicious. The hosts are very kind and attentive. Definitely book your stay here!!"
"The Aerie House A friend and I stayed for two nights at the end of September at the beautiful Aerie House.. First, overall this is an excellently maintained property with abundant subtle and charming whimsical touches, a beautiful garden and a very pleasant big sitting room with several comfortable nooks and a good collection of interesting books. Our rooms had exceptionally comfortable beds and many nice extras like a refrigerator in each room, a comfortable chair, and in Room 6 (but not Room 3) good bedside lighting. The second floor deck with rather distant water views is also lovely. Room 6 has an easily operated gas fireplace.. greatly appreciated during the chilly rainy days of my stay... and a comfortable somewhat private deck (somewhat because the unshaded sitting room windows overlook it). My friend stayed in Room 3. The view of the ocean from that room is very nice. A small downside: the bathroom is down the hallway and has a very small shower... adequate but a bit too cozy... on the other hand the rate for that room was quite reasonable. A big downside for me, as an older slightly unsteady person, was the lack of any handrails beside the short flights of steps leading into the building. Another downside for those staying in the upstairs rooms is that the door both to the outside and the door into the sitting room are locked except in the morning so after breakfast one must use the not particularly well-lit outdoor stairs. These do have a good handrail but this also means in inclement weather such as we had there is no immediate access to the very pleasant sitting room. Another thing that was a downside for us, and of course not the innkeepers fault, was the lack of a sidewalk on Bradford Street so that after our first night when a car narrowly missed us as we returned in the dark from our dinner at Ciro & Sal's (beautiful patio, excellent food, a good recommendation from the hosts at the Aerie House), we elected to drive the short distance into town which also meant paying for parking at MacMillan's Pier..a very reasonable $3.50/hr. For those who don't know Provincetown, once the car is parked in this central lot, everything in town is within easy walking distance and there are good sidewalks. A local activity recommended by one of our hosts that we thoroughly enjoyed was Art's Dune Tour with Steve as our guide."
"We had a wonderful time at Aerie house. Steve and David took care of every detail for a fun and relaxing stay. We stayed in room one. It was perfect. The beds were dreamy, so comfortable! The mattresss were great and the pillows perfect. I haven't slept that well in a long time. The breeze off the bay through the open windows was soothing to the soul. Breakfasts were good and varied. I'm dairy and gluten free, they had oat milk for coffee and several options for gluten free breakfast. The hot tub was great after a day of biking. I reccommend a bike ride to the beach. Steve and David have bikes on site for guest use. The day we went to Racepoint beach we saw whales! We spent mornings and evenings on the deck with coffee or wine, watching the bay and the boats coming and going. The guest house is on a hill in a quieter part of town with great views, yet easy walking distance to everything. I recommend going to the Mews for dinner and the Harbor Lounge for drinks. Both are just a few blocks away. Steve was kind enought to pick us up and drop us off at the ferry. We couldn't have found a better place to stay while in P-Town. I highly recommend!"
"Spectacular in every sense of the word! We’ve been visiting for almost a dozen or so years, Look no further, There’s really no better location, or Owners I’ve met who Care and work so tirelessly to give you the cleanest place, the best Breakfast, and most comfortable Accommodations for you, and your Pet! That’s right, The Aerie House is Pet-Friendly, which makes this Super, Spectacular Location Even More Perfect! It’s just over the top in Excellence in every Measure I can think of, and the breakfast offerings are so Superb, I am a Chef at a Bed and Breakfast, and am Admit-tingly usually disappointed by most breakfast offerings so I usually sit the meal out, this is one of the very rare, and very few places I’ll Eat, The Breakfasts are exceptional, It’s so hard to find a bowl of fruit, They offer the best Here, and Fresh Honey from the Bees From the Bee Hives Tucked behind the property At the Inn, There’s truly something for everyone Served on their “Help Yourself” Buffet style setting that has clearly earned, and Kept their Five star reviews and Excellence, The owners work real hard and deserve Your business Pick Here over any other place, trust me, You’ll Be Back! We Have returned so many times and can’t wait to come back again and again, because when you find the best, why look anywhere else!"
"We had a lovely time at the Aerie House, the owners are great and very helpful. The inn is spotlessly clean and well-maintained. The quality of the sheets and pillows could be improved, and the breakfast setting can become cramped quite quickly. The place is VERY dog-friendly, which we didn't mind - that's one of the reasons we chose it - but there were 6 to 8 dogs, some quite large, staying with different guests while we were there. All but one were well-behaved, but I can imagine it's a situation that might come as an unpleasant surprise if one is not expecting it."
