"Just a short walk from downtown Port smooth NH shops, but far enough for some quiet too. Prices were reasonable for the feeling of a high end hotel. We got upgraded to a 1 bedroom suite that was awesome with a dining room, living room, kitchen, office, bedroom and small balcony. We didn't eat at the restaurant, but it looked good, as did the bar. They did have a club room which had a stocked refrigerator, coffee machines and hot food at night and in the morning. Hostess in the club room was awesome. I would stay here again definitely."
"Overall experience was good except two unexceptable issues with the room. The door to our room 226 did not completely lock. Housekeeping attempted to enter at 10am without announcing themselves or knocking, thankful the security latch was in working order. The second issue was the comforter top edge was stained with blood. Comforter appeared washed but needed a more thorough cleaning. I didn't notice it until the morning or would have requested a clean one. Other than that, the entire room was clean. We enjoyed a nice meal in the restaurant, our server John was very polite, professional, and quick to bring our breakfast. Upon checkout I asked for an itemized receipt. They were unable to print immediately, offering to email after contacting accounting. I just found it odd that an itemized receipt was not more readily accessible."
"The most "Mid" of hotels. As average as average can be. Dated and run-down in some spots, but very clean. The Club access with snacks, drinks, coffee, and breakfast, was a nice perk. (Sue, who was stocking this area, was cheerful, kind, and attentive). Everything else was mediocre, but it's all about the great location with this place. The design and layout of the spaces, as well as the decor, is...odd. Attempts are made at art-deco, but it seems very mismatched and awkward. Someone needs to come in and do a cohesive overhaul. It may be the most aesthetically unpleasing hotel I've been at. The other negative is that this is not a quiet hotel. Don't go here for a good night's rest! Go here for the great location (and maybe for the Club access)."
"Great Hotel but not so quiet. There were random bangs and kids screaming in the halls. We had to log into the TV every time we turned it on. Room wasn't cleaned until 4:00 and outside the window all we could see was piles of salt. Awesome location though! Everything was walkable! Only took out the car twice. Good hotel for families not so good for couples."
"Nice clean room. Did club access not sure if worth it, basically got what would normally be a free breakfast elsewhere. Scrambled Eggs. Sausage or bacon. Potatoes and oatmeal. Muffins. And the room was not air conditioned, so was warm in there. Was in walking distance of downtown."
