"The Ashley Inn is such a charming place to stay in Edgartown! My wife and I truly enjoyed our stay, especially being just a couple blocks from downtown. Quaint rooms, lovely breakfasts, and our hosts were always offering fun points of interest around the island to explore during our stay. We would highly recommend to anyone!"

"Stayed here for a couple nights on a work assignment. The place is just adorable More of a traditional B&B than a hotel. Our room was big airy and lovely (quaint New England style lovely not Ritz Carlton lovely). The king sized bed was SUPER comfy plus, my fave, they had feather pillows!! I’d love to stay again when on holiday."

"We ended up in Edgartown after we got left by the ferry and we stumbled upon this inn - turns out it was the best thing that happened to us. We were welcomed warmly by Lucy who was more than accommodating, and also met the sweetest owner, Fred, who got our room ready for us. Everything felt so much like home and it definitely captured the essence of Edgartown. Not to mention, the location was very much ideal. Will definitely be coming back!"

If you are looking for high level amenities, then stay at a hotel. Otherwise, if you are looking for that charm and history, this is DEFINITELY the place!"

"We had a problem with American credit cards and the hotel did not offer apple pay to be able to pay without having to have the physical cards. Instead of the owner trusting us (we had already paid half of the reservation on-line) and being more patient, he started to reproach us for not traveling with money, etc. I also offered to make a bank transfer from my account to the company's account and he told me that he thought it was "stupid" and that it was not done there (we are in the United States, please). It was a rather unpleasant situation that left a bad taste in our mouths during the trip. In the end, we were able to pay with our Spanish cards without a problem and the situation went from rude to polite in a moment (money is money). Otherwise the hotel is good for the price it offers, but don't expect great luxuries. The rooms facing the road are very noisy because there are cars passing by at all hours. The hotel bed was old and uncomfortable. However, the breakfast was good and the location of the hotel is excellent."
