"My wife and I traveled to Martha’s Vineyard to celebrate her birthday on October 29th 2023, what an incredible, indeed amazing experience. We live in The Bahamas, so we know about hospitality. The staff at HVH was truly amazing and professional. The location is perfect as I have a slight handicap and was able to walk downtown to enjoy the shopping and scenery. I can’t stop telling my family and friends that the must visit Martha’s Vineyard and stay at the Habor View Hotel. We will return to spend time with our new found family and friends. "I was recently at the Harbor View Dinning Room bar having a drink with my wife. We decided to have some food, but preferred the bar menu over the dinning room menu. However, we were told that in order to eat off the Bar Menu we were required to move to the rear room bar. That despite the dinning room bar was empty, the bartender moved with us, food from the same kitchen and everyone except the manager, obviously without creativity, thought it would be alright. It is a very nice bar, but will not be back until I can order food from which ever menu I choose."

"It’s a lovely hotel with attentive friendly staff and nice ambiance, but it’s pricey, so I feel it has to earn it. This time, I was disappointed with the lobster Caesar salad. The dressing was low on flavor and watery, and the lobster was tasteless (folks, the thawed frozen lobster I bought from Market Basket when I got home from my vacation was twice as tender and had twice the flavor than what was put on my salad. I feel this is a problem). But, the painkiller cocktails were epic, as always."

"We stay at Harbor View Hotel every July for the past few years. We admire this hotel for literally everything: location, view, service and amenities. We always get great service from every staff member, but this year, Alina made us feel especially welcomed. This amazing girl was so attentive to all the guests regardless where she was working that day: at the pool or “Bettini” restaurant. Always smiling, polite, ready to recommend places to see or dine. We really hope to see her next year at the Harbor View again!"
