Residence Inn by Marriott Boston Braintree

"This place is the Bees knees!!!!! Everything is incredible. The rooms are extremely clean, and the kitchen setup is convenient. Breakfast was overwhelming in a great way since there is always a variety of options (warm cold, pre-made, self made i.e. waffles,) I had 2 adjacent rooms and I could not hear my kids at all when in the a different room. In fact, it wasn't for the fact that I saw other cars parked in the lot and people ride the elevator with me. I wouldn't know anyone else was sleeping in the hotel. The walls must be padded to the nines because their rooms are extremely quiet! Location is just right between Boston and the South Shore The mall, movie theater, and other attractions like gaming at Dave and Busters are all minutes away The number of restaurants nearby is also incredible In conclusion, if you're wondering if it's worth the trip, let me make your mind up for you, IT IS! You will not be disappointed"

"Took an unauthorized hold for incidentals on my credit card for $250, even though they told me they were only taking a hold for $20 - which they also did TWICE! At first there was no apology from the manager, only an excuse. This was the second time this happened at this hotel, despite the room being already paid for on a master account. I had also verbally stated at check in that they were not to charge anything additional to what they were telling me, since I had a problem once before- yet they did. This took hours of my personal time and also weeks to resolve when it happened the first time. At that time, the hotel said they released the hold, and my credit card company said they didn’t. This is why I found the nonchalant attitude quite aggravating and unhelpful. A shame, because the hotel rooms are nice. This is the only Residence Inn where I’ve ever had a problem. I AM NOT THE ONLY REVIEW WHICH DESCRIBES A SIMILAR EXPERIENCE, so this problem is not unique to me. I have had no resolution from Marriott either."

"We stayed at this hotel and loved every moment of it . 30 minute drive into Boston ( TD Garden) . Close to shopping and food . Hotel was very clean . There was a pool and gym that was kept very well . Hotel had an outdoor fire pit . Hotel is pet friendly ,there was absolutely no smell of dogs !!there was also a Breakfast buffet and free self parking . We would highly recommend this hotel . Price was very reasonable and worth every dollar spent .There is a full kitchen in each room , 2 tvs . Staff was very pleasant, Elaine was very friendly and made our stay pleasant. The best part was hank we loved him . I absolutely loved staying here Our family of 3 had a studio king ."

"The room we got is wonderful, the bed feels amazing. Because of the holiday, the housekeeping staff isn't around. The breakfast in the morning is also great."

"Great hotel for. Makes you feel like home. In my opinion the number one hotel in the area. Best place to stay if your looking for a get- a - way trip and cannot go very far. Provides the comfort of home with an outdoor fire pit for an added rustic feature."
