Seacrest Inn 334 High Street, New Shoreham, RI 02807

"Truly the most disgusting place I have ever stayed in and I slept in hostels. Bugs on my bed. Supposed to get a king size bed but was in a full. Slept in room #1 with everyone’s traffic noise. Wish I knew before booking for almost $1,000 for two nights. DO NOT RECOMMEND. While I appreciate the below response from management, $656 for 2 nights is close enough to $1,000 that I felt as though the rooms should have, at the very least, been kept clean. I likely meant to book a queen and was surprised by the full, so that was my mistake. However, when I called to see if I could swap out of Room #1, I was harshly told the Inn was booked for the entire weekend and hung up on. Management did not ask if they could do anything else to make my stay more comfortable. The additional reviews on this location correctly identify issues with mold, which was very present in the bathroom - most notably in the sink cabinet. After all of this, the bugs were the least of my concerns. I, unfortunately, maintain that I would not recommend this as a place to stay on Block."

"We were told rooms were recently renovated. They may have been but a bit subpar, tile wallpaper, faucet in shower kept moving to hot, an alarm clock in another room was going off they fixed but same time next day, again it went off. They cleaned the floor with Fabuloso, the smell is really strong and feels like they are hiding something and it made the floors slimey. The AC unit is to large for the room and it made it damp. 86 the Fabuloso."

"Not good for people with lung issues. The room smells strongly of mold and was causing me asthma issues. The door to the room didn’t fit correctly so you could see right into the room. Shower curtain was dirty. However good location to a lot of restaurants and the harbor."

"Location was great, quick walking distance to all. Room overall was clean, just very sandy floors. Room 1 can be a bit noisy because it is right by the main entrance off the road, and while the road was quiet, you hear people coming in and out all night/morning. Had a great time though, bed was very comfy and linens and bathroom were clean. Good spot to shower and rest in between enjoying the island."

"We stayed here last September 2015. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and also the bathroom. We enjoyed the breakfast outside in front of Inn and their breakfast items were good (NO BAGELS- - - I was really looking forward to having one). I think their coffee was great! It is a quaint old school experience. It would be nice if they had local TV available Location is perfect and hoping to stay there again this coming year."
