"What an appalling disappointment. The only real compliment I can give is for cleanliness and staff friendliness/helpfulness. The decor is bizarre and mismatched, carpet looks like it has spills all over. They're understaffed (although five stars for service if you can get someone). In-room coffee maker ate both coffee pods without making a cup of coffee, no free coffee in the lobby. Overpriced restaurant/cafe instead. Parking lot is difficult to find. Pillows too fat for anyone in my group to sleep on. No soundproofing from other patrons. Poor water pressure. Didn't they just build this place? This is rich people money grabbing at its worst."
"Not super thrilled for the price. We stayed for NYE and got a room so we wouldn't have to travel. Check in was fine, the room was nice. Upon showering I noticed the walls of the shower had what looked to be caked on dirt and shampoo/lotion all over, and the floor was dirty. I didn't have time to re- pack and either wait for the shower to get properly cleaned or move rooms. This is an issue I'd expect from a lower grade hotel. When I finished my shower and called the front desk, they offered to clean it up but nothing else. When I arrived back to the room after the night out, the shower wasn't cleaned. I stay at Marriott hotels often, and I've never had to deal with an issue like this not be taken care of. It was pretty disappointing to say the least."
"My husband and I spent Christmas Eve night and Christmas night at this hotel. The room was beautiful. No tub, which we prefer, just walk in shower. Only espresso machine in room. Bed was not a comfortable “Marriott Bed” that we love. Difficult to find parking lot, but front desk told us they are working on it. Most disappointed that there was no full service restaurant for breakfast. The hotel only has small cafe. We had to leave hotel to get a full breakfast on Dec.26 - and that restaurant did not open until 8. If the kinks are worked out would give it a 5. Convenient to family."
"We rented 12 hotel rooms for our Christmas party, and I have to say the rooms are beautiful, clean and comfortable!! The lobby is absolutely beautiful and festive!! Every one of employees were wowed! It's as good as staying in Boston and views outside your rooms are so beautiful!! Worth the stay and only 25 minutes from Boston!! Thank you, Bonnie, for all your help booking these rooms!! Lisa"
"While I haven't had the opportunity to stay in the rooms yet, I can enthusiastically share my experience with the exceptional service we received from Kristin K, our Event Sales Person, during a recent event held at the hotel. The property itself is stunningly beautiful, and the main ballroom is nothing short of exquisite! Kristin was personable, professional and proved to be an outstanding communicator, thoroughly understanding our needs and ensuring the success of our event. The entire staff, with a special mention to Alexa, one of our servers, went above and beyond to accommodate us. I can't speak highly enough about our experience. We look forward to returning to the Artisan for future events and are eager to do so!"
