La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Salem NH 8 Keewaydin Drive, Salem, NH 03079

"This was a spontaneous trip. Didn’t want to travel too much on Christmas and decided to try this place. They were under renovation so explained some of the debris and areas down. Turning to a Hilton. Room was a bit damaged and some areas seemed they were not cleaned. Possibly this floor hasn’t been renovated. Check in felt a bit odd. Possibly due to training? No paper receipt all electronic. First time there and wasn’t given any contract to sign, directions to room or even where breakfast was set up. They did mention complimentary coffee and tea all day but not where to find them. The mini mart on site had some stock that was expired. If something could have changed it would be the guest service. Really didn’t feel welcomed and it felt awkward at check in."

"Date: 11/05/23, Room: 401 For the price you pay, this has been one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. The rooms are very clean, with a great shower. The bed is comfortable—firm, but not worn out. And in the king bed room, there's a super comfy reclining chair for working on your laptop. The only negatives are the front desk service is a bit subpar, but they do their job and they do it quickly. There's also this really weird smell that permeates the hallways, but it is totally absent from the actual rooms. Overall, I'd happily stay here again, especially considering the price."

"My bridal party and I were moved here since my original hotel had a pipe burst. I should have paid the extra money to stay somewhere else. The front desk staff was so rude and my key card entry wasn’t working 98% of the time. It would take us 10 minutes to get in each time. The room wasn’t fully clean, the breakfast was very medicore and it felt like the elevator wasn’t safe to be in. You are charged for a pool that hasn’t been working for month apparently. The cherry on top was that some of my bridal parties reservations weren’t there and one of them was turned away due to no more rooms. Don’t even bother staying here unless you REALLY, REALLY, REALLY need a room for the night."

"I don't have a lot 2 complain about with respect 2 this hotel. There were 3 things that annoyed me though. First, the price they charge 4 an 8 oz bottle of Poland Spring water. It cost $3 and I thought that was simply outrageous. They probably paid $3 to $4 for a 24 case yet they r charging customers $3 for one bottle. Second, the toilet seat was literally coming off the toilet. It was so loose that if U tried 2 sit on it you would have toppled 2 the floor. Third, there needs 2 B at least one bar on the wall of the shower. The tub is deep, so when I tried 2 step out 2 the floor, I almost fell over. I had 2 grab on 2 the faucet in the shower area 2 keep my self from falling 2 the floor. And lastly the dust on the phone made me uncomfortable. One swipe with a disinfectant wipe would solve that. But all in all, the room was clean and tidy and I appreciated it. I met a young lady cleaning the rooms on my way down for coffee the next morning. She was very pleasant with a smile. I didn't get her name but she made me feel welcomed in their hotel. I will always value a smile, so a good hire there. I would definitely stay again."
