"This place is FA BU LOUS. It's expensive but it's worth the price. The mansion is astonishing. They did a perfect job finding antique furnitures and great books. The rooms are all different and each one has a little something in it. But more importantly what makes this place great is the quality of the service and the French restaurant. The pool and the gym are great. However, the spa could be improved with better therapists and a nicer atmosphere. Their prenatal massage lacked of attention. For example, they didn't provided help to lie down or stand up. In addition, I wish they could promote better their on-site activities as it's hard to know what to expect out of it. Finally, booking a table at the restaurant was a very complicated and not transparent process. I understand that you need to book in advance because of their success but I never managed to find an open spot on open table and they rarely answer the phone (you have to leave a message). I wish that they would have something sorted out for the hotel guests at the time of the booking. So definitely stay and dine there but maybe go get your massage somewhere else..."

"Absolutely outstanding about everything and every detail. We were there for a wedding reception. The service and staff were properly trained to do the perfect job that each did. The grounds were manicured and well maintained. The employees could not have been more gracious and courteous. They were very aware of our every need and promptly took care of it. Loved being there."

"This is not as much a review as a memory. My family had dinner at the Blantyre more than 45 years ago, shortly before my mom died at 52. We strolled the grounds after dinner, and there was a wedding celebration on the veranda. My parents were wonderful dancers, and they just walked up onto the dance floor and started dancing. I'm sure that both the bride and groom were wondering who these people were.... this is a memory I will never lose!"

"Cafe Boloud. Extraordinary prix fix menu. Lovely dining area and waiting rooms in the hotel. Boloud's menu is magnificent, something for most. The french cuisine is offered in American portions, but exquisite in the preparation. We had salmon and duck dishes, both extraordinary, with a truffle topped appetizer. Looking forward to their return in May!"

"Excellent food. Absolutely beautiful venue. Went there for birthday celebration in a party of 8. Our first drinks took 15 min, arriving in 3 phases. Otherwise service was acceptable. Dinner was superb and moderately priced for a fine restaurant. After dinner we moved to another room and enjoyed a fine piano player for an hour. He played numerous requests for us and was a highlight of the evening."
