"I stay at only Marriott courtyards or fairfield inn and suites. This has to be the worst I ever stayed at. No bath linens twice in the mant weeks I stayed. Emptied body lotions and during room service they just made bed and didn't change sheets. I won't ever leave my Marriott stays cause there fantasic but will never stay at this facility again"
"I stayed here for about 12 nights and the rooms are kind of thin.Person in Top room was pretty loud, so i informed to front desk, there was african-american lady, instead of acknowledging and doing something she was rude and was suspicious that im the one whos complaining for no reason. Similar encounter with other african-american employees on front desk(for different reasons). I’m not racist, since im brown myself, but not the way to treat your customer. One star goes because of them. Otherwise great stay."
"We booked a 5 night stay in a one bedroom. There are typically no Ambassador status recognition at these properties but we did get a high floor corner room based on our preferences. Pros: - The front desk and breakfast staff were very friendly - Clean rooms - It's very close to major highways and lots of restaurants/stores such as Target, Walmart, etc. Cons: - It's not a new property, so its worn out In general it was a good option if you need to be in this area, but it's not fancy and a bit outdated."
"So, this is a long review, but I want to make sure I am fairly describing why I DO NOT recommend this particular Residence Inn. I’ll preface this by saying that I am an Bonvoy Titanium Elite member by spending over 100 nights at a Residence Inn this year and spent roughly 12K at them. I only mention this because you'd THINK they would want to treat good customers better. I do want to say that almost all of the staff were great and the rooms were clean and other than the last 24 hours, I had a good experience the last 2 weeks I had been there. I recently got a job with one of the largest employers in Albany and was planning on staying there until the 20th when my apartment will be ready. So I had extended my stay until yesterday, and planned on extending it for the rest of the time, but they informed me they were fully booked the next night, and I totally understood that, and wanted to extend my stay one night as I was feeling sick and then make the switch tomorrow. I had been told my first paycheck would arrive yesterday, but as the first one is mailed, it arrived today, and without it, I was short on funds (partially due to the authorizations from the Residence Inn that had not been returned to my account). So what I wanted to do was use one of my free nights from being such a good Marriott customer to get one more day until my check arrived the next day (and I reiterate, it did arrive today) and I wasn’t feeling like death. At first they were on board with this, but then the General Manager decided that if I didn’t pay the bill THAT DAY, I would need to leave and they wouldn’t let me use my free night. I basically spent the next few hours trying to reach out to family, or get a pawn loan, or ANYTHING that could get me the $450 I owed so I wouldn’t have to move right then. I eventually gave up and started packing up, but luckily a family member returned to cell service and helped me with the bill so I could use my free night last night. The next day, they then called at 12:05 to ENSURE I was checking out by the noon deadline (despite me having late checkout as a Titanium Elite member). Did they have any obligation or duty to me to let me use that free night and let me pay the next day? No, and I absolutely understand that. I know I was asking for a favor. But what they DID have was a choice to either show kindness to one of their most loyal customers AND full-time employee of one of the largest employers in the city, (they are also the closest location to it). And previously, I had been their biggest cheerleader from my previous stays at Residence Inn, but I will make sure to let all my colleagues at work know to avoid this location. There are others in the city that aren’t that much further at all, and I’m guessing their management actually appreciates customers who have spent about 4 months this year alone in their hotel enough to work with them when they are facing a very tough situation. Not to mention wanting to maintain a good reputation with a very large employer 5 minutes from them. I just know that if they treat a customer who has shown THAT much loyalty to Marriott like they did to me, I can’t imagine what the service would have been like for someone who hasn’t spent more than 1/3 of a year in their chain of hotels. Still love Residence Inns, but avoid this location, if they don’t care about doing that to me, they do not care about their customers in general."
"Bed was very comfortable. Noise control was much better than most hotels I have stayed in. Coffee pot and coffee in room, coffee cups would have been a nice addition. I would stay there again."
