"Firstly- the office is super clean. It's a small building and very easy to miss. I was not sure who to take my girls to as we just moved from Delaware to Maryland. My mom heard the name Alvarado and immediately thought about the late Dr. Alvarado who, saved my brothers life so I decided to give them a try. I went in completed all the paperwork necessary for them to receive my children's medical files and made an appointment for my oldest the day they got her file. We were quickly greeted by smiling faces, ushered to the back, where the assistant quickly gathered her vitals and showed us the room. Beautifully decorated! Oh I missed seeing that. I remember my pediatrician office from when I was a child was always done! It was nice. Welcoming. The room was huge! You forget how small it looks from the outside! Dr. Alvarado soon comes in (like less than 5 minutes!) He is very good with my daughter even when she is being 110% obnoxious! He inquires about my younger daughter and if she is going to be a patient as well, or if she is going elsewhere. I informed him that for whatever reason previous office did not send their charts at the same time but the front desk informed me they received them that day and I would be making an appt for her on my way out. I knew she was behind on her vaccinations at this point but figured at least if my oldest got sick she would be established. He then offers to see her as well. Same day, same time! He looks over her records briefly checking vaccinations, since that was the main thing, asked about other major things (i.e. surgeries, allergies etc) and checked her out. We were able to get her caught up on vaccines, tested for lead and iron levels checked! It was truly amazing and I really do have a great feeling about this place! Glad I gave them a chance!"

"I love the nursing staff and I love miss Joyce who we ultimately ended up choosing as our PCP. However we ended up leaving the practice due to very strict vaccine believes/rules of the practice in general. When initially choosing this practice I didn’t realize I would either have to agree to all of the vaccinations or I would be forced to look for another pediatrician. I wish I did more research while I was pregnant. But I thank them for their time for the year we were with them!"
