"They almost killed my cousin when he had a life threatening seizure which landed him on life support. He was then diagnosed with meningitis and we were fighting back and fourth with the hospital to get him to John Hopkins. They were playing games with him. Now tonight my boyfriend is in there and within the span of almost 6 hours he’s had his vitals taken, a urine test done, has been checked on ONE TIME and then told he had to wait till 7am the next morning to do the ultrasound. I’ve experienced neglect at this hospital myself as well. DONT GO HERE. They do not care about the patients. It’s a select few nurses that actually care"

"If you want your medical problems to be taken seriously, please DO NOT go here. A year ago, I broke my foot and had to be carried into the hospital by my friends, the doctor couldn’t care less and after my X-Ray, she wrapped my foot, gave me a crutch and sent me on my way and told me to go get a boot from a pharmacy, like what? Luckily, urgent care was a better help. A few months ago, I got into a car accident and wasn’t all the way there when the ambulance was taking me to hospital, but trust me if I was, I would’ve told them to take me anywhere else but this hospital. While I was there, I tried to explain that I have bad anxiety and my heart rate will spike high and to please keep an eye on it, she did not care. When asked if there was something wrong or was I hurt anywhere, I told them that my hand was hurt and I could barely move my fingers, again they couldn’t care less. After a few hours waiting on my X-ray and falling asleep, a nurse came into the room and told me I had to leave because they need the room for emergencies and mine wasn’t considered one anymore. What? Please don’t take your loved ones here, you’re better off going to JH or another hospital in Baltimore because this is not it."

"If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I took one of my deaf clients to the ED this morning due to face droopiness (possible stroke) and abnormal behavior around 10am. We arrived at 11am. She had her vitals taken and was then sent back out to the waiting room to wait for a room. We sat in the waiting room for 3 hours and still had not been called back. Thankfully our agency nurses decided to just transfer her to another ED"

"My daughter was recently sent to Tidal Health by her primary provider, after she was sent home from Atlantic General with pain medication for severe abdominal pains, and an explanation “we don’t know what’s wrong!” After several days of trying to deal with the pain, her primary care doctor saw her in her office, and immediately sent my daughter to Tidal. She ended up being admitted upon arrival, and went through a series of testing to find she had a very serious infection, with sepsis. She was in progressive care for 5 days. The team of doctors, and nurses were stellar, and communicated very effectively. The care Moriah received was thorough. A shout out to nurse “Stacey” for the extra special attention and treatment you gave my daughter. All of you are appreciated, and your excellent care of my daughter doesn’t go unnoticed. A heartfelt thank you to each one of you."

"I was in a bike/bus accident in Ocean City and required medical attention in the Emergency Room on 10/05/23, from 6:30 PM to 10:30 PM, in room 410. The attending male nurse, was the singularly the worst person I have ever dealt with at a medical facility. I would ask questions and he'd just ignored me, and wouldn't say a word. Then when they administered a pain med that did not work and I told him (as I was instructed to do if it was ineffective) he just totally ignored me and walked out of the room never to return. finally after about 30 minutes of waiting I asked another nurse for assistance and she contacted the doctor who gave me something different to relieve the pain; the male nurse just simply disappeared never to return. That would have been bad enough, but then when they removed my IV and stepped out of the room it started gushing blood all over me and the floor as I was attempting to get dressed. I opened the curtain showed them my arm and asked for assistance, the nurse/tech (?) at the counter just look at me an did nothing. So as I'm trying to stop the bleeding I asked again in a more stressful manner because it was getting all over me and the floor. A different nurse said she wasn't dealing with my bad attitude and refused to assist me. I stopped the bleeding on my own and cleaned the blood off myself in the sink and proceeded to leave. Simply the most unprofessional people I have ever dealt with at a medical facility."
