"I will not spend my money at this place since it has been sold. I went in a month ago and thought it lacked the same beauty as the former owners not super friendly displays there were not any! And I used to be in marketing and product promotion so I always noticed their beautiful displays well today I go to pick up a prime rib roast I have gotten steaks tenderloin roasts etc this guy says 271.00 for four people what kidding right! Nope well guess what paid 110 at the meat house in Glen Mills service excellent price what I usually pay top choice they trimmed it up and I will be back again but here nope lost my business and I loved this place we have lived out here going on 17 years!"

"I moved here 13 years ago and country Butcher was beyond belief. I used to be in here 4 times a week shopping. After it was sold I noticed that some of the Deli items did not have the same flavor as before. Frozen Barbecued Pork, I bought recently was dry and did not have the taste I got used to. The Brandywine chicken salad lacks moistness and grapes. I am sorry for this review, but after shopping and buying all the items the store had you can’t help but notice the change. They also used to carry little Cherry tomatoes that were jarred from Italy that were the best ever. I have traveled to Italy and can honestly say this!!! They dropped a lot of items that the old owner carried which made it fun shopping in there."

"Anytime I am in the area I stop in to get everything I need for a good home cooked meal. Quality of the meat is tough to beat and the selection is always great. Also have fantastic pantry items with local pastas, cheeses, cured meats etc. love using their Italian sausage in my pasta sauce."

"Everything about this place is top tier from the staff to the products. The hot food is outstanding and rivals any other spot in Kennett. Cheese and meat selection is other worldly. Caught them for a customer appreciation day and got to sample all kinds a great stuff!"

"I got the rib eye sandwich. $17. Of course I am thinking sliced ribeye. I was wrong. I would have preferred this rib-eye on a plate. It was a good roll but not a $17 sandwich roll. The roll was also too narrow. Everything kept sliding off the roll. Cutting the Tomato slice in half would have been a big help. The basil mayonnaise was very tasty. As a ribeye it was delicious. As a sandwich it was a miss. It came with french fries but even they were undercooked. I got a brownie. The brownie was delicious. The brownie was big. The brownie gave me a stomach ache because I ate it all at once and should have been two or three servings. Ironically the brownie helped me dollar cost average down the price of the meal."
