"DO NOT GO HERE. My father had two appointments at this place for severe pain and an EMG nerve test. He waited months for the appt only to have it cancelled without a reason the day before. Ok...rescheduled for ONE MONTH later --- while he was living in chronic pain. Was IN THE WAITING room on the day of the appointment and GOT CANCELLED AGAIN. Right on the spot. Do not waste your time w the Center for Neuroscience. They seem to have staffing problems or reliable doctor problems. Either way you are wasting precious time trying to get to the bottom of you medical condition. DO NOT GO HERE."
"Don’t waste your time with these incompetent people. They don’t take responsibility for their mistakes and David is rude and acts like you owe him something. Any time they renew your medication or make a change, they never send it to the pharmacy and end up making excuses for their incompetence. It usually takes over a month to get my medication from when I was supposed to. I’d give them 0 stars if possible. Unless you enjoy wasting your time, being frustrated, or being talked to like you’re a child then I highly discourage you from being a patient here."
"I came to Dr. Thomas when my prior doctor retired and the incumbent required neuropsychological testing to continue prescribing the meds I have been on for almost a decade. The testing process was long but thorough and I feel relieved having clinical results to support my diagnosis. I decided to switch to Dr. Thomas rather than stay at my old office because of the pleasant staff and efficient service. Dr. Thomas took the time to meet with me and discuss how certain medications affect the brain and even greatly reduced my depression symptoms by treating the primary cause rather than throwing more antidepressants at the symptoms. I am comfortable having my checkups with the NP and continue to recommend the practice to family, friends, and colleagues. I drive the hour for my appointments because it is excellent quality of care."
"For a doctor who supposedly 'cares' about the welfare of his patients Dr. Thomas really has no trouble not allowing his patients the proper time to speak when they have problems or insult them. Then when they call, and call, and call about problems they have been having because he didn't listen he just ignores them and lets things get ungodly worse especially when it comes to medications, you never get a call back about anything half the time my medication was never called it, everything is about money to this doctor, he tried telling me I needed a neuro psych evaluation because I reached a certain age but I only went for migraines, my memory is sharp as a whistle!!! So he either gets all the kick back or least most of it as they are expensive! I have seen him yell at his staff no wonder every month there is someone new! Find another neurologist ! Wait the tone to find one worth it! Everyone wants things instantly but for your own health don’t go to this quack!!!"
"I came to the Center for migraines his staff was entirely friendly! I saw Dr. Oconnor and his nurse Jessica. They were both friendly and treated me with respect. They explain the entire process of needing an MRI and Jessica I believe who called me for my pre-authorization. Was very quick maybe less then 24 hours she was a delight to work with throughout the entire process, Dr. Oconnor called me with my results and assured me that everything was OK asked how my medication he started me on was going and that I would see him again in three months he has truly done wonders for my migraines they are down to maybe one a month I want to thank them both very much For how wonderful they are and the entire staff how pleasant they were from Beginning to end.
