"Made an appointment to have my laptop looked at for 2:20. Only 1 tech on the floor and he was busy with a customer. Finally 2:48 someone came out and helped me. He was very nice and helpful. I had to leave my computer. I received a call the next day it was ready made an appointment for 10:20 the following morning. Again 1 tech working with someone. Now myself and 2 more customers waiting. When a tech came out I told him I had an appointment for 10:20 it is now 10:40. He said ok and went and helped a man with a computer that was a walk in. 5 minutes later the tech that was working on a computer finished and got my computer for me and made sure I was satisfied with everything. 5 stars to the 2 techs that finally helped me. No stars for the young tech that would rather help a man than an senior citizen. 1 star for appointments."
"Absolutely the pits in customer service. Bought top of the line HP all-inclusive desktop. One week prior to warranty expiration, they sent a text. Since I was overseas, it expired and PC crashed upon my return. Took to aptly named GEEK squad and assured they would repair it. After two weeks, received text that they would have to send it OUT! MORE TIME AND MONEY... Agreed to pay extra and after considerable time, another text gave me a pick-up date. When I arrived, they informed me it still did not work!!! NEVER AGAIN FOR BEST BUY OR THEIR TOTALLY INCOMPETENT GEEKS. RATING= 0"
"Told me my laptop was out of warranty and instead of repairing it he recommended buying a new device. I just bought a $1000 laptop from them a year ago why would I buy another? Oh and the kicker I just got an email stating my warranty wasn’t up until 2 days after my visit. Highly don’t recommend, they lied and tried to upsell instead of working out a real solution. Brandyn just earned you lost you a customer and a bad review. PSS Went up the street 2 min to Wintec and got my laptop repaired and back to me in 1 day with excellent customer service"
"I am writing this for a friend - his computer had multiple viruses and ran so slowly. 1 day later, Geek Squad fixed the problems we asked them to fix, and more - eliminated the virus, updated the computer, made the search speed faster. What a great service, I recommend."
"Every store I have been in has an arrogant know it all staff. The person that helped me thought that the system knew the latest price of a good and that I was wrong and went ahead and rang me up anyway. I took my phone out and showed them it was incorrect. They had to find a manager to do an override. Just because of my age they thought I was wrong, unknowing didn't have a clue . What this person didn't know is that I've been developing systems for my clients for over 40 years and understand how pricing systems work better than he did. Another arrogant poor example of the Geek Squad. Time to re-think their approach to customers. Wake up Best Buy."
