"Home warranty assigned these folks to fix my furnace. I am surprised by all of these bad reviews. The owner called me back first thing in the morning, assigned a technician and they came a few hours later. Coastal diagnosed the problem which turned out to be something that a different company (with 4.5 stars) had warned me might need to be replaced a few years ago - that company had given me the run around saying the part was no longer manufactured and would cost me $1000 to replace, trying to upsell me on an entirely new furnace and ac. Meanwhile, Coastal was able to get the part the next day and quickly install. Thanks a lot!"
"The owner very unprofessional and inconsiderate. He has a nasty attitude and also is very dishonest. My water has been cold over a week. Had a work order put in never received a call. Called him and he lied and said he thought it was canceled. He never reach out. On top of that I called and explained my problem two days in a row. He said I should’ve called at 8 am it’s 10 am and now he can’t come out til Monday. I told him it was an inconvenience because it’s winter and I have children and I didn’t want us to get sick do to this. He replied we would call back Monday. I called him back a few minutes later because it wasn’t sitting right with me. I ask if he could send someone else out. Basically he’s the owner secretary and the plumber. So I said I’ll call on Monday 8:00 he now saying I canceled it because you said you would call someone else. I told him I was calling to see if someone else in his office would come out but ok long story short find someone else he’s bad for business!!"
"Stay away at ALL costs. The only reason we have used this company is because of our home warranty. Huge mistake. Only accept cash. I had the guy telling me over the phone that my warranty "sucks" and isn't going to cover the problem (without even being to my home or seeing the problem.. weird) then scheduled an appointment time, never showed, but called to say that I wasn't there so he was leaving.. I was there he never knocked and when I said that I was home on the phone he just kept saying he needed to reschedule. Use ANYONE ELSE!"
"I was having HVAC issues for almost a year. Luckily, my 2-10 home warranty contracted these guys to fix my heater and A/C. I had two other companies come out and could not fix the problems with either system. They would spend hours trying to fix it but could never figure out a long term solution. Coastal came out quickly, diagnosed and fixed the problems in no time. I was impressed with their knowledge and helpfulness. I would recommend their services and I’ll bet any of other negative reviews are from negative people because my experience was excellent."
"I had such a negative experience with this company. I have been dealing with them for over a week and my kitchen sink is still leaking. Rich came out one week ago and “fixed” the leak under my sink. Once I returned home the same evening, the sink was still leaking. I placed a call letting them know the sink was still leaking and Rich assured me that he would be out that following Monday and I never heard anything from him until I call later that afternoon. He said he wouldn’t make it out that day and said he would come out Tuesday, first thing in the morning. Again, no call/no show. I placed a call that afternoon and he said he was on his way. He did end up showing up only to tell us that we needed a pipe replaced and he would be out Friday to replace it. Once again, no call/no show. I placed several calls throughout the day and Rich finally answered letting me know that he would be out an hour after my phone call to him. I placed that call at 2pm and never heard anything after that point until I called him and left a voicemail at 4:15 letting him know I was calling someone else to take care of the problem."
