"3.5/4 The “marinated pork” /pastor tasted like marinated chorizo. For $8 I could’ve made it myself. The cemita is my go to. It’s huge and decently priced!"
"Visited for the first time yesterday. Delicious elote served outside the front of the store. Conchas sold in the bakery section had tasty chocolate icing and were moist. Potted marigolds available for Día de los Muertos. Great store and I may return tonight!"
"I keep going back for the horchata. So flavorful and delicious. They serve Mexican food at the back of the grocery."
"Very good food, unique and unlike local stores, good environment"
"Parking was easy, plenty of spaces in front of the stores to get a spot. This is a colorful Mexican Grocery store close to the Near Diner on 40. They have everything you'd expect in a grocery store. Fresh produce, deli, and basically anything else you could possibly need you can find in here. We were here for the Taqueria, and even shopped a bit afterwards. Service was excellent, and I brought along a couple Spanish speaking friends to make it easier for everyone. This was the move. Walk up to the counter, order your food, they bring it to you, eat, and pay the check at the cash register up front. I ordered a bottled water to drink, cold, refreshing. Chips & Salsa!!! Nope we didn't order any oops. I ordered a pupusa with chicharone and cheese. The flavors were outstanding with a little creamy cheese, and skin crunch. It was even better with the green salsa. That was my jam! I ordered a carnitas sope. Carnitas was an excellent blend of fat to meat, flavorful, with a little char in there. The tortilla was amazing & held up well through each bite. This was right there with my favorites. I ordered tacos choosing carnitas, chorizo, and pastor/chicharone. Tacos must be ordered 2 per order. Carnitas...again, just as above, tasty and I took it up a notch with the green salsa. Tortillas were good, and they added some heat to them to make them crispy. This is the way. Chorizo...good char, solid flavors, light grease, just a little on the dry side. Salsa helped remedy the situation. Pastor/chicharone...I accidentally ordered it like this and holy hell was this amazing. Got some char from the pastor & even more crunch with the chicharone. Again I needed to use salsa to enjoy to the fullest, but man those flavors were kickin. I took an order of tamales to go from the front of the store. Huge tamales for such a low price. They were some of my favorite tamales I've had in my journey. Lord Tamale appoved 100%!!!"
