"We took the kids on the Christmas train ride, and it surely did not disappoint. Everyone was super nice and in the Christmas spirit. We sang Christmas carols and look at amazing light displays along the route. It was in total about ab hour ride. Half an hour there and half an hour back. We will definitely be back next year, but tickets sell out fast, so don't delay!"
"Such a wonderful ride. It's so much fun to ride the Wilmington & Western. Going during the holidays with the train all decorated. Playing wonderful old time Christmas music and singing carols with the train volunteers is for every kid at heart like me. We are so lucky to have the many great volunteers who keep the train going."
"This train ride is a blast. They allow food and drink and even a picnic area halfway through the ride. But the best part is when they and the community put up Christmas lights. Tickets go quick, so get them early. A big shout-out to the Entire volunteer workforce!"
"We took our 1 1/2 year old grandson for the holiday lights trip. He absolutely loved the gift shop! It was convenient that juice packs were for sale that there was a family rest room available. The station was nicely decorated and lit up, as was the train, both inside and out. There was so much excitement from the younger riders as we passed the displays set out by residents along the track. The ride might have been just a little long for the youngest travelers. However, it was a nice experience to share with our family."
"We had a blast! It was a sold-out Santa train ride. The volunteers did an awesome job getting everyone on the train quickly. The train is beautiful, well maintained, and clean. Santa and Mrs. Claus were awesome. I highly recommend this"
