"This is a amazing venue. Yes it is small and could use some updating, but the performance we saw was absolutely amazing. The costumes were spot on to the movie and you can tell how hard and dedicated these kids are to their craft. My hats off to all the kids and the team that make these shows possible. Oh almost forgot we went to see Frozen Jr. And I will definitely go back again."

"I recommend going to the Delaware Children’s Theatre in Wilmington for the following reasons: 1. It is a real, live theatre experience, directed and performed by professionally trained directors and actors along with talented children in age appropriate roles. 2. Each show features live music performed by their own Pit Orchestra, and beautifully designed sets and costumes. The theatre itself is listed as on the National Register of Historic places. 3. For a little more than the price of a movie, it is a great value, and the cost of concessions is nominal. Front row seats are the same cost as any other seat, and they have a really cool balcony. Plus you can meet and take photos with the cast at the end of each show. 4. Plays allow children to live in a pretend world, and I see kids at the theatre fully engaged mentally and emotionally. The actors lead us through the story and the children are pretending right along with them. Young and old alike take the journey together, which is a thrilling and special experience a family can share together, something uncommon in this age of technology."
