"What I liked here was the location in itself. The buildings of the hotel can be refreshed, ample parking, the check-in was simple but inside, there was no internet, Wi-Fi for the duration of my stay and I was there for business. I had some issues with cold or hot water because there was no middle there, no way to get warm or Luke warm water, just the extreme. I guess you get WHaT you pay for right?"

"15 years we have been going to this place with every year just as good as the last. this year was just not what i was expecting! every year when we check out we set up a reservation for the next year and receive a confirmation letter of our reservation without a deposit because we never needed one over those many years. this year we got there and our room was occupied. showed them the confirmation letter but the paper might as well of been blank because it meant nothing to them. we did get a room in tower two but it cost us 300.00 dollars more which brought the total to close to 1000.00 dollars to stay from 9/5 to 9/10! they gave us 20% off because of the hassle and a room in tower 2 but that meant to me about as much as our confirmation letter meant to them! still had a ocean view which was nice but the room was dirty. i could not walk across the floor which was linoleum without my feet turning black. the garbage was only picked up 3 times in a week and the towels and wash clothes where changed about the same amount of times. no WiFi the whole week but at least the A/C worked. we had to chase them down to get a blanket for the second bed and the halls smelled like i don't know what. needless to say it's a damn shame but we will not be going back to them again!"

"Linen was limited. Spoke with the check desk concerning my concerns, but it like speaking right through them. Customer service appeared to not matter. The white wash clothes were tainted. Towels were bleached. Toilet smelled of urine. The shower wall had hair all over the wall. Room smelled old."

"For a budget motel it doesn't get much better than Flamingo Motel. We've been coming here for about 15 years and it seems to be a little better each time. The staff in particular are so nice and helpful. They've gone above and beyond for me more than once when I was being picky about a housekeeping issue, helped me find on-steeet parking when I have too many vehicles and responded with kindness and positivity when other patrons were being super rude to them. They are in the process of updating their rooms, some of which are pretty dated, but it's got a great little pool, plus an indoor pool for rainy days. Updated rooms are cute, have very comfortable beds and non-carpeted floors which is so nice because motel carpets are so gross. The location is wonderful too because it's walking distance to Jolly Rogers, right by the beach and a little away from the busiest road."

"Sit wasn’t horrible but it wasn’t to our standards of cleanliness. The walls need to be dusted and washed. The floors need to be vacuumed and mopped. The bathroom just needs to be bleached every where in including the walls. If you go just bring cleaning products and stuff to ensure you feel comfortable."
