"Recently stayed here for a week and surprisingly (after reading the reviews and not expecting much) it actually turned out to be a pleasant experience. Specifically the staff member who checked my group in, he made sure to provide the best customer service to us. I wish I could remember his name to give him more recognition. The pool was great and has a tiki bar right next to it, fun for adults and conveniently open late. Access to the beach was perfect and overly clean, it was a great location. Restaurants and stores close by and easy to walk to. I'd definitely consider staying here again in the future."
"There is more than (1) quality inn in Ocean City some of these reviews are mistaking one hotel for the other. The boardwalk is nowhere near this hotel. This hotel is North and sits on the Delware / Maryland border. It is a short walk to the beach a very nice beach but it is definitely a car ride or bus ride (public bus not shuttle) to the boardwalk. This hotel ranks in the top of my worst places I have ever stayed. Its dirty, outdated, and the staff does not work. Weed is not my thing but many of the staff can be found smoking it up not knocking their choice but it doesn't belong at work. There are too many people on the clock at any given moment and in the morning they can be found in the lobby sitting and chatting. Housekeeping does not freshen the rooms at all EVER. Our air conditioner was barely working I had to pry the air filter out and clean years of dirt and dust from it. We had a kitchenette however the sauce pan had toenail clippings in it, needless to say the kitchen was wasted space. The pull out bed had potato chips in it. The staff that came to clean ithe chips put the vacuum on the bed as if it were the floor rather than use the hose?!? The bar lock fell off my door which would not close unless forced shut. Nick was kind enough to inform me that the metal door had swelled from too much paint. I guess Nick didnt realize the door was metal and not wood and swelling doesn't happen. Nick if you see this the doors are falling of the hinges because the staff forces stuff in them to hold the doors open. This place is worth no more than $30 a night and that would be a real stretch. Please do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else, no savings is worth the filth in this place."
"This has got to be the greatest Hotel I have stayed at in years. Over my career in my field of employment I have stayed in well over 100 hotels and by far this is not a 5 star hotel but, it definitely is not a 2 star either. The service, staff, and location where perfect for me my wife and 3 young grandchildren 3,6, and 9. All of whom said they want to come to this hotel next year. Thank you Mike and Ashley for a great time."
"What I liked about this place: The proximity to the beach was a good plus and the hotel is next to several restaurants/attractions. You could see the border between Maryland and Delaware next to the hotel too. There was good insulation in the walls. Staff was nice and helpful. My complaints: The door to our room on the 4th floor was slightly misaligned so that we had to really push against it to open/close. Likewise, the balcony door required a lot of effort to pull open. The hotel itself is alright. It’s leaning towards the older end in terms of furniture but everything worked and was clean. The kitchen came with stoves, microwave, large fridge, and kitchenware. AC was older looking but was able to cool the temperature of the room. Breakfast was mediocre. They must still have some Covid protocols in place since a lot of the things were individually wrapped like their cups, muffins, bagels, and utensils. There aren’t any warm foods or proteins I usually expect from inclusive hotel breakfast like eggs & sausages. They also charge you 1.50 per night for safe warranty or something of that sort. Not sure if you can waive it at check-in or not."
"The worst experience we were at first floor and biggest worst of all it was the patio door was in tiki bar restaurant literally and people were eating and looking at us we couldn’t even open curtains, seriously what kind of hotel provide room like this . Avoid this hotel at all cost even we asked someone to clean bathroom as it was lots of sand and they said they can’t send someone to do . Worst of all. There are others hotels better than this and can do pricematch too . Not worth ."
