Surf Villas

"The exact same thing happened to me in the booking as with Misha'sAdventures TravelMania. I really wanted to stay here, it looks very cute, but the booking is misleading. It directs to Surf Villas on Baltimore Ave at 7th street, about 50 blocks south. The folks at the big hotel- Quality Inn desk next door hand out the keys for the Surf Villas next to them but are clueless about the Google booking misdirection /mixup and they will not assist in booking the Surf Villas. It all has to be done online on your phone/own computer. Therefore these Surf Villas here do not get booked because of the online misdirection."

"I am leaving 1 star because of misleading!! I'm not sure who is responsible for this, google, priceline, or owners: This is my story: I found Surf Vilas on google Maps with location 7 54th St. Google gives you the option to book. I chose to book through the priceline link located straight at the top. This is the part where you need all eyes open!! Priceline takes you to book at Surf Vila, located about 50 blocks away, on the other part of OC! Surf Vila is located at 705 N Baltimore Ave in OC. You will not see any address at the priceline website until you get confirmation email. I'm not sure who is responsible here, but it is definitely not a mistake. Google should investigate this case. Also, the Surf Vilas staff have to do the same because they r losing clients due to this scam."

"this place is disgusting i wasted my money coming here i had to take showers at my friends hotel at comfort inn cause the hotel at surf villa was disgusting. The showers made my skin itch i had to wear shoes in the shower. the water wasn’t hot at all. the beds and the room seemed dusty. luckily for me my friends got sheets to change the sheets on the bed. while we were changing the sheets we found someone’s underwear under the sheets the hotel gave us. The room smelled horrible! something like a moldy smell. i give this hotel a 0/10 never go here you might catch an infection."

"Perfect so far as location. One block off the boardwalk and priced reasonably for the season, on the third row. The rooms are large, clean, and comfortable. Housekeeping is good. It's safe to leave things in your room. Cooled by window unit. Water pressure is fair (not their fault). They only provide soap. They do not even sell shampoo, toothbrushes, razors, or toothpaste at the front desk. The coke machine vends Soda that feels like it was sitting outside the Alamo in July. Overall, as a place to sleep, it is better than passable."

"Very cute bed and breakfast feel hotel (without the breakfast). Staff was very nice and friendly with great conversation. Our room was at the very top facing the bay direction. You don't get a view due to all the surrounding buildings but you are a two minute walk to the boardwalk which was great! Our room was adorable. Very comfortable bed, although it was very noisy. Has a mini fridge and tv (you have to pay a fee to use tv) Bathroom was very clean and well put together, although the shower was small, it was all we needed for a one night stay. Free parking is in the back and extra parking is two blocks away. Sometimes the back lot fills up so you have to park in the extra parking but it's free parking. Regular parking is $2.00/ hour. I'm happy with walking two blocks. We will definitely be coming back next vacation! Overall great experience!"
