"I would never recommend working at this place!!! First of all, the owner, Eva is really really rude, she is picky for no reason, telling you: “who are you, you are just a housekeeper”. Never told anything about job rules, how it supposed to be done, charged me 100 dollars for throwing out the shoes, even tho, she never ever explained that you need to keep them for some time…And thats why it is not my responsibility, because I never been told that. She said its against their policy, but she never gave me to read their policy. And she telling all of that near customers, even tho, we can solve this problem together, because I am her employee and she should have some respect for me too. She is really rude to customers, rooms have bed bugs, we don’t even have equipment to clean rooms; room sprays, trash bags, windex, etc..And after that she calls you iresponsible. The worst working experience ever! I am J1 student, so I am gonna inform my sponsor about this incident for them to stop sending students to this terrible place to work!"

"I spoke with Karena to make a reservation for one night over the holiday weekend. I asked a few times that I can stay for just one night, she assured me I could. I booked my room, they charged my credit card, and said I would receive an email with the conformation in a day or two. I asked way not now, she said only a manager can said the email. I called 2 days later to say I never received the email confirmation and a VERY RUDE lady (I did not get her name)told me that they don't have a Karena that works there, they don't have any reservation for me, and I must of called another place. I told her I have the charge on my credit card from Ocean Lodge Hotel. she said we don't want people like you to stay in our place! I rather sleep in the street rather then give them my money. If I could give them zero star rating I would."

"I’d give this place a 0.I had the worst experience with this hotel today. I arrived for check in around 2:50 pm. Waited about 10-15 mins to be let in the office. I finally called the phone number and a lady said she’d be right there. A lady came and unlocked the door to the office. I attempted to check in. Unfortunately, I made reservations with Apple pay and didn’t have the physical card with me. I offered to switch to my debit card. She agreed and said it would be a $200 deposit. I paid her the cash and she then went on to say she would refund my money and I could re-check in. I agreed and yes I was a little flustered but she took my sighs as an attitude problem and said I could always go somewhere else. I walked out of the office to get some fresh air. She then told my husband “never mind. We don’t take attitudes. Go somewhere else. This is memorial day weekend. No other hotels accommodated our needs so we end up having our reservations cancelled because I had “an attitude”. The staff is very very unprofessional. She said her name was Mary and she had a thick accent. I don’t know what I did wrong but I will never return to this establishment. Front desk lady was unnecessarily rude. Train your staff with customer service skills. DO NOT STAY HERE!! IT’S A SCAM."

"Eva the owner was very sweet and helpful! The regular 2 bed room was very small and lacked certain amenities but it was clean, convenient, and cheap. Would definitely stay there again but be careful booking through 3rd parties like Agoda. A simple date change an hour after the initial booking cost me around $100."

"We had a family of 3. The size of the room was great! Everything was clean and there were plenty of backups of towels and linens. You cannot beat the price! Its 2 blocks from the boardwalk. Pizza place and bar are across the street! The owner was so kind and friendly. The room got a little warm and she ran upstairs and got us a fan, which was perfect! I highly recommend to anyone! The pictures are after our stay, so forgive the mess! That was us, not them!"
