"I choose this hotel because it was very close to the project I had to work at. I called 2 days ahead for a late check out. I was only booked for one night . I wasn’t for sure if the project was going to run for 2 days. The person at the front desk told me 12noon is the late check out time . Because the hotel was not full , I was also told, if the time went pass 12 the worst case would be I would have to paid $50, if I was checking out . I even called on my way to the hotel ( 2 1-2 hours drive) to let the front desk know I would be arriving late. I arrived around 8:30pm . The 3pm-11pm shift person was very helpful. Once I arrived the gentleman at the front desk had my paper work all ready to go. Once again I requested a late check out 12noon and about the project schedule. He said no problem. $50 would be the worst case. He said to speak to the person in the morning before I leave . I did 11pm-7am shift person was very helpful as Well. Same scenario worst case $50. I was willing to sign and pay for another night. But the person at the front desk told me to wait until 11:30-12 and check in with my status. 11:15am things took a turn , by this time . My husband came down and he was in my room waiting for me. He called me and said someone at the front desk just came in the room using new keys . Asking what was the plan. I was told She didn’t even knock. She just walked rite in. It wasn’t even 12noon yet. That did not sit right with me at all . Hotel management should not be able to just walk in a guess room without knocking. What happen to just calling the guess room!!! By this time I was calling the front desk while I was still at work!! I gave her (the front desk manager)my card information over the phone . I was told I would be charged $139 if I stayed over night . If I wasn’t it would be only $50. I arrived back at the hotel around 3:15-3:30pm I told the gentleman (3pm-11pm shift ) I was going up to get my things to check out. He said no problem . I came back down to check out and was asking for a receipt. He said he could not give me a receipt, because anything was all ready in the system. I ask $50? He said no $139 for the night . I said okay can you cancel that I’m checking out. He told me he doesn’t know how to do that I would have to wait until the next day and I would have to call him . He didn’t understand what was going on either. He said it should have been only $50. He don’t know what the other person did. I looked at my bank account and here there was a $139 +$150 hold on my credit card. I would have to wait until the next day. The front desk person even try calling the manager to try to fix things .. the manager even refused to speak to me on the phone. I did not understand why I was being charged $139 and I was checking out!! Plus the $150 hold.on my card. I asked for a receipt , stating what I was being charge for and some type of confirmation I check out. He could not even give me a receipt for the first night I stayed. I will say he tried . Long story short. $139 + the $150 hold on my card did not clear til Monday morning. Which is today 11/13/23 I paid $139 for 3 1/2 hours . Not the $50 I told. If I knew this was going to happen I would have just checked out Saturday morning. And went to a different hotel if I had stay another night . It was a long 2 1/2 hours ride home . Never again"
"This hotel is fantastic in my eyes. Pet friendly, you get dove products for body wash, shampoo conditioner and body lotion. The staff are all friendly and amazing. The rooms are clean clean. I loved it!"
"Pet Friendly Hotel with rooms that are update and modern. This hotel and the staff is Amazing They accommodate you on all your needs, and the staff is very friendly. The location is great because its not far from the beaches and there is a lot of food places right across from the hotel!! The pool stays open until 9 at night and my fav thing is that they ask all who stay to keep it quite from 10pm-8am so that those who need rest can get it. I love everything about this place always my go to when I need to get a way!!"
"If you like tiny rooms at an absurd price, then stay here. The pro is that it is pet friendly without carpet, but that is all. The mini fridge lives up to the name (you can barely fit a 20oz bottle in there). You pay for a room that you can barely walk around in if you are there with family. The location is central to a lot. Do not expect much. My family and I were disappointed with the lack of space. My recommendation is to stay at a Holiday Inn."
