"Hidden away you would almost not notice it if you weren't looking for it but rooms were good, staff was amazing and prices were reasonable. Would stay there again when traveling in that area."

"I would not recommend! Our room reeked of smoke, there were cigarette burns on the table and the edge of the bathtub, the TV was impossible to operate, the coffee maker didn't work, there was mold in the bathroom and the place was generally OLD and dingy. The mattress was squishy and the pillows were flat. The tv from the room next door was right behind our heads in the bed and we could hear it clearly. To top it off the people next door were up and talking and cursing until 3:30 in the morning. A terrible experience and we left after one night, forfeiting our room fee rather than stay."

"I am not picky about hotels. Our room seemed clean, although there was an old stain on the corner of one bed's top sheet (I have trouble keeping white cloth anything white, myself; other than the old stain, sheets were white and pristine) and a couple cigarette burns on one of the comforters (barely noticable where they were). We both loved the comforters! Fluffy and nice to touch. No dust or previous occupant's hair I could see. Seemed vacuumed and wiped down. NO roaches, fleas, or bedbugs. I have stayed at a hotel in a different state in a room with fleas, and another hotel that had roaches - first room and the one they switched me to. Didn't see any of that here during our stay. The curtains did not meet together enough for my liking, but a binder clip did the job. It sounded like there was someone in the room next to us, but they weren't disruptive. Didn't experience anyone being bothersome to us. It was a quiet stay. We stayed here for one weeknight at a price that is about as inexpensive as it gets for a hotel these days. Don't expect luxury and perfection from a place that sometimes costs $89/night. The next night was Friday; since the cost shot up for a weekend night, we elected to stay somewhere else that night. Anything this close to the beach will be more expensive on a weekend night. It would still have been cheaper here than most places anywhere else within 30 minutes from Lewes and Rehoboth. My husband has mostly stayed at more luxurious hotels in countries where it didn't cost as much as in the US, so his standards are higher than mine. He would probably give this 2 stars. I also wince at the prices for a place to sleep, while understanding everyone needs to make a living, nothing is free, and any traveling is a luxury. If you are not picky beyond a reasonably clean and safe place to overnight, it's fine. If you have expensive tastes and the money to back it up, go somewhere else. Even if we were rich I would feel odd about paying $$$ for a hotel, I'd rather stay somewhere $ and give the difference to a worthy cause. The staff we interacted with were friendly and efficient."

"This older, budget motel shows its age, but it is well-run and tended: air units appeared newer and worked well; staff was attentive with room upkeep; everyone was friendly; room and beds were comfortable. A good value conveniently close to Rehoboth Beach and Lewes. We enjoyed our stay and will return."
