Deluxe Inn

"Paid a couple days in advance there for family that was waiting to get into a new place. They had to leave early because there were roaches crawling all over the room (119) in the evening. I understand it's a cheap motel, but no one should have to deal with roaches. My next call os to the health dept."

"The room was great: nice bathroom w/ window, big bed, desk, mirrors, fridge, microwave, t.v, ashtrays, AC/heat, closet area, and a dresser. Many motels in the area, neglect allowing customers to have personal microwaves and Deluxe Inn doesn't! The customer service was unfortunately HORRIBLE, surprisingly. When I called to check availability, thankfully, The Older Lady (OL) said don't worry about check-in time, just come when you need to, when I showed up it was Cash Only, no deposit. She didn't want me to have visitors nor my best friend there for longer than 30 min a day, I made her give me a receipt bc I paid for the whole week, she refused a refund, she ended up being very aggressive and even threatened to call the cops on my friend to leave when it was only 2 in the afternoon. Once I locked myself out, her granddaughter/daughter/ or neice wanted me to show an ID after being there for 4 days, to let me in my room, obviously I was unintentionally locked out so I didn't think to bring my ID. So I made her get the OL. It was very crazy, I didn't even stay there after the third night, I just kept stuff in the room so they couldn't make extra profit since she wouldn't give me any money back when I left that room cleaner than I found it, like even cleaned the walls bc I thought I'd stay awhile and my son would be present a few days. But they all (OL, the possible granddaughter & a middle aged guy) needs customer service improvements. The location is pretty awful, right on 40, practically like a stage for all the drivers on 40 to see you, they should grow some trees or some type of barrier, something. Create some shade, good vibes and privacy."

"I had a great stay, my only complaint is my non-smoking room was next to a smoking room and the laundry room on the other side. I would hear the laundry door all times of night by one particular staff member. The other room alongside mine always had someone loud and tons of weed and cigarette smoke coming through the bathroom. I work from home and intended to stay long-term. I don't think many of the guests worked at all as people hung outside a lot but they never bothered me. Staff was nice and professional."

"Room/bed was smaller than I thought it would be, but the accommodations were satisfactory. The room had a mini fridge and microwave that worked. I felt safe checking in late at night as a single female with no one with me. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. The direct TV (satellite TV) kept freezing but we were having a storm at the time. After the storm passed, my partner let the front desk know and they didn't have an answer so we unplugged everything and waited 5 min, then plugged everything back in and it worked. Premium channels and everything."

"Rooms are colder because of the walls being concrete and having no insulation. Rooms are not updated other than having flat screen TVs that hang on the wall and the showers [They are stand up showers, which sucks. I like to take a nice bubble bath (once I clean it again myself with bleach you can get from the maids and sometimes from the front counter or use it to shave my legs.).] Rooms just really need to updated and modernize!!!"
