"I went to see dr.fanning because my regular obgyn sent me to him, he did not treat me kindly in fact he yelled at me telling me that just because I went there did not mean I would get surgery than he proceeded to compare me with his daughter stating that he gave her depo and that I should try that mind u I’m 44 yrs old dealing with a fibroid and cyst and in the past year gained 25 pounds he was not compassionate towards me at all. At the end of my visit we settled on him putting in paperwork for my surgery and I never heard back from him or his office. How dare he treat me in this manner I have never been yelled at by a doctor especially one who doesn’t know me or what I am going thru and because of that I wouldn’t even want him doing my surgery."

"Dr Fanning is the BEST. He is kind and gentle. He is also very intelligent and down to earth. In my opinion that is a great combination for a doctor. Over 20 years with him and I can't think of a single complaint."

"At this point if I could give 0/10 I would. The bulletpoints: Dr. Fanning had a rude demeanor during my visit, he didn't listen to my concerns regarding my limited insurance coverage, and he didn't communicate well during the exam. He had a student who was performing the exam and Dr. Fanning was preoccupied with educating the student and not communicating what he was doing with me. Needless to say, I've had >10 of these exams in my life and I've never felt more violated and upset than after this exam was over. A few weeks later I received a bill for lab testing that we specifically discussed at the visit, I provided documentation that it had been done the previous year, and I requested not to have done as it was unnecessary and not covered by my insurance . I called the manager and discussed this however they stated that I will have to call back to Dr. Fanning's office and speak with him directly, and that I will likely have to pay it anyway. I then tried to get in touch with his manager to discuss my concerns regarding my appointment, was on hold for >10 minutes, and when someone finally answered they told me "Oh, the manager left 15 minutes ago." I didn't plan to write a negative review as I wanted to give them the opportunity to remedy this situation with me, however they don't seem to want to communicate with me. Now all I'm hoping is that I can save someone else from this awful experience."
